What I find happens in alot of low/mid (around 700-1000) elo games is that both players boom for a time, then one person decides to be aggressive and build up military. The other player under commits to military then gets attacked with a sledge hammer of 50 units out of nowhere. they have no/little military, and even if they have the better eco they get wiped out. I'm usually the guy that under commits.
I've been in the situation where Red was when you said, "Just go imp." I went imp made trebs and won the game. The guy I was playing said, "Took you long enough." I won the game, but mentally took the L.

I'm 750elo, enjoyed this game because I've been in the shoes of both these players 11 GG!
I play Britons as my main. Watching the Briton player research iron casting after losing his one and only melee unit but before he got bodkin area made me cry soft tears.
@@OCinneide Yeah, I think red is just a better closed map player who is good in castle age and later, but struggles with early push, whereas blue seemed to be focused towards an early game fighter (with all those skirms etc)
Plus, that game is great to learn from. How many players at this elo do exactly what Blue was doing (right tactics against the enemy civ, just badly timed and executed)? That's another point of Low Elo Legends - it's not just entertainment, some games are actually great field study!
I belong in 'no elo legends' as I mostly just watch this game.

It is good to see low elo games being comentated, it motivates noobs (like myself) to play ranked

I am saddened and disappointed by lack of attention to the shape of treeline in middle of map. I thought we were better than this.

I doubt that red is 700. Hes probably climbing up to real elo. (unless he has low elo for other maps or civs)

Maybe, they could retire if they are pushed early. I was around that elo and I got out by just doing dark age/feudal pushes.
