Keep the content coming my brotha, what your doing in heavy haul is special. It takes discipline, experience and a true eye for detail. I've driven trucks for over 31 years and even thought about getting into heavy haul but at that time it wasn't an option for my skin color. Keep doing your thing, much love and safe travels.✌

You certainly have to keep track of the expenses including tires, fuel, routine maintenance and keep some money in reserve for unexpected expenses like engine or transmission trouble. Many drivers spend a lot of money on bling for their trucks. Shippers don't pay extra for a good looking truck. While you mentioned the cost of permits sometimes the most direct route isn't the least expensive or the fastest route. Some states are slow to issue permits and it can take a week or more to get one.

You are very professional you definitely know what you are talking about and what you are doing. You back that truck and trailer like it is an extension of your arm. You make it look very very easy and I know for sure it is not. Keep on doing what you are doing you are doing a great job!

we have a fabrication plant that had a heavy hauler trailer. It is usually empty, but every time we go by, we count all the wheels, about 100. I often wonder what it costs to use that trailer. No reason just wondering.
A few years ago we had a new electrical substation put in. It came on rail and was trucked to the location. About a 10 miles trip. There were a few small bridges that had to have wood and plates put on them. They closed the road and those in the area shot video. I know it was expensive.
You are right, these jobs do not happen all the time and you must plan for downtime. you need to manage your business as a business. This is a lesson that is not learned till later in life. (45 in my case)
I find your videos interesting, thank you.

The reason your last video got more views probably has something to do with how TH-cam suggests videos to viewers. One or two videos might not put you high on the list. Also, once people start watching your videos, liking, subscribing and commenting on your videos they move up on the list which leads to more views which leads to more likes and subscribing and comments. I suspect this video will do even better than the last one.

@@c1heavyhaultrucking I do have a W900 Kenworth with a big Cummins in it with the sleeper on it actually is not that much longer than my Peterbilt the only difference is it’s not a setback Axel but watching you turn that big old trailer I should have no problem I thought I was a good driver but maybe I need to step it up My trailer is only 44 foot long

My truck is a 2018 with 605 Cummins. I was blessed enough to get a chance at 13 axle after just 2 years of driving

What’s the wheel base on that w9? Looks like a 86” sleeper?

      It's a tri_drive so it's a little different but its a 315... but if it had a lift axle it would be a 342

I'm a huge fan of the W 900, so much more room than a Peterbilt and nicer interior. That beast is a ten and I'd be pissed that they left mud inside a mud flap and on the tire. Otherwise it looks great.

And I would to kick it wit u on this topic fam. I think getting wit someone that's been in it would valuable so Holla at me fam.
