Thank you for this video, Lubna. One area I always need help in is simplifying my interests and activities. In the past I have had so many things going on at once that I do none of them fully or wholeheartedly. I made some resolutions the other day for 2025. There were like 13 or 14 items. I stepped back and realized they were all aspects of one core resolution and that was to uncompromisingly be true to myself. Simplifying thigs brought the main item into focus. Thank you for all of the work you do, and everything you've shared with us on your wonderful channel. It has changed my life and I know I am not the only one. 2025 will be your year!!! Thank you, Jeremy. Happy New Year. Simplifying my life is something that I, too, need to work on, though I claim in this video to live as simply as possible and to make my wants few. I think what I mean is that I (and I’m sure many others) need to be more humble. At times, I get overly ambitious and feel that I want to do a lot of things and gather a lot of accomplishments under my name. This is all pride, and I have to catch myself before I get too enraptured by the false glamour that comes with pride. Yesterday, on New Year’s Day, I filmed a video but, upon reviewing it, it was evident that I was speaking from a place of pride and ambition. That is why I chose not to publish it. Especially when it comes to New Year’s resolutions, I think it is important for us to be careful not to put our personal will over God’s will. 🤍✨🕊️
All I truly have is me.There are acquaintances and family who I love. I am learning to enjoy solitude though. There are many things i will be cutting out and cutting back on in the year ahead. To detach is the goal and become whole!! Happy New Lubna and as always keep going We got this.
