If no one told u today ..... u r doing an amazing job!!! I’m 63 years old and a grandmother from canada and i love ur videos....discovered u during COVID and so happy to see ur video!!! Happy Mother’s Day !!!!
You are so incredible and are such a good example of how much moms do behind the scenes and just a great inspiration and motivation to young moms to show how capable we are as women. ❤
I totally commend you on balancing and managing your hectic days ....gee it was exhausting just listening to all that you do in a day! You are absolutely doing a great job as a supermom!
You are remarkable! I am a 71 grandma and my kids were 17 months apart. I went back to work at the Phone Co. after 6 weeks. That’s all you got in 1971/1972. I had my Mom who babysat until they went to school. You can only do your best. Great job. ❤️
12:40-12:49 spoke so much to my anxious mind. I am constantly worried about my kids getting the adequate sleep they need for growing and developing their mind but with my first i would always get angry if she wouldn't sleep when she needed to. And now I'm about to have a newborn and a 14 month old together. All i can do is watch the wake windows and offer the nap. Nothing more nothing less.
Thank god for 15-30 min of Blippi in the morning lol don’t know how I would get ready with out it! Screen time in moderation I think is a great thing. Thank you for the video!
This realism is exactly what I needed right now as a first time mom of a baby that is 5.5weeks whoy is not sleeping well during the day. Thank you for this! It was good to see a full REAL day with the explanation and the idea of RIGHT NOW, this is the routine.
I learned, albeit the hard way, getting up a few hours before my children is so important to my mental health. I use this time to list what I have to do for the day and then I have an hour of Bible study. And I applaud you for the outside time. My kids where always outside when they were younger and they still, even being tweens now, love to be outside doing something like bikes, roller skating etc...
Thanks for your thoughts on infant sleep! I’m a new mom and the sleep aspect of baby life has been so stressful as there are so many opinions out there about it. I was helped by your reminders that it’s not worth getting worked up about it but to seek consistency. And I am constantly telling myself that every day is a new adventure with a baby :)
I kept my kids in the crib till they were around 3 just because we were upstairs and I was very concerned they would get a window open or something. I had one of those zip on mesh tents for my crib so they could t climb out.
The outdoors are the best for kids! I've found with my toddler when I feel like the day has been dragging or I'm about to lose my patience, going outside fixes it. Theres so much more room for them to move and it calms them
Girl, you have NO idea what a strong willed toddler is. I really hope you understand how lucky you are. Your son is not the average toddler. You're seriously living a dream. You better understand how lucky you are.
@@jennifermyers9436 Everything starts with us. Change ourselves, change our toddlers. This stage is crucial, not only for personality development but also developing trust. My 3 year old still doesn't trust me and it breaks my heart, but we all need patience with each other. They're testing boundaries while learning emotions and reactions.
Just a note on baby sleep.. Our baby (who's now 2y4m) slept CRAZY bad until approx 2 months ago. CRAZY bad, no joke. Waking every 15 minutes and sometimes never going down for sleep at all. Tried white noise, rockers, EVERYTHING, expensive sleep courses,,, nothing worked. And then they found a brain tumour in her cerebellum at 8 months. She's had 2 surgeries and have now healed enough as to not feel pain/whatever you feel post tumour/surgeries. She sleeps most nights and rarely wakes us, not even when she goes to the loo. So all I want to say is, baby sleep can also be a sign, I believe. If it's really, really crazy (45 minutes was a very rare luxury to us... She'd NEVER Sleep that long in her 2 first years..), maybe it's something keeping them restless. Thanks for great, inspiring videos Kallie!
I just found your videos on here and I am so obsessed!!!! I love your ideas and that you clarify things such as: what your toddler actually ate from meals and that "right now" this is the sleep schedule for the baby and such. You are such a wonderful mama and so talented in many things and I am so happy to have found you as a resource! Thank you so much for sharing yourself with all of us!
I have a 7 month old and a 2 1/2 year old and I totally agree with your approach to just not let sleep or lack of it rule your world. It comes when it comes. You are doing a great job and your little ones are lucky to have such a caring and attentive momma. ❤️
That big stretch Finley did then placing her arms behind her back (during ur tips regarding nap time) was the cutest thing I just couldn’t handle it lol she’s just too cute!!! I’m not even a mother but I’ve always been so in awe of how mothers get everything done during the day. I feel like I’m a chicken with my head cut off but you guys do it all with small children. Amazing. Happy Mother’s Day to you & all the mothers out there in the world 💕💐
Am I the only one with kids that just goes with the flow? 😂😂🤷♀️ I've never had a schedule really. Sure there is things that we do as a "routine" everyday like eating and morning and night time brushing teeth and getting dressed. I've always just let my kids sleep when they are tired 🤷♀️ for me it's less stressful and its what my kids are used to. I'm a full time stay at home mom so I guess I don't really need to manage my time as much 🤷♀️😂
Thank you so much for this video and for being so honest with us. Sometimes I feel like I’m the only mom that has such a full load and no help, but you’re right, it’s just a phase/season and it’ll pass. Happy Mother’s Day! ♥️♥️♥️
This was me one year ago, and so accurate. (I was almost getting flashbacks!) thank you for sharing and carving out precious time to put this together ❤️ you are a fantastic mom and your family is so blessed to have you!
I have 3 kids and waking up before them is the only way to live! lol getting coffee and having a few minutes to wake up before the chaos begins is a great way to start the day! Great video! Thanks for sharing!!
Yes!!! Sacrificing sleep makes a huge difference!!! I have three kids (3,2 and 1)... And if I don't have that ME time...it throws me off!! It's not fair to them...so, I do it because it's a win for me and the kids!! Thanks for showing your day - yes, planning is key!! Could you do a video as to how you plan things in this season of your life?? Hang in there!! You are doing a great job and are an inspiration to me!! Take care and keep safe and healthy!!
You’re awesome! Thank you so much for your content it’s always so helpful. My daughter was born in January too and I have a 5 year old. And that dinner time hustle is no joke! Love your videos!
Totally with you on the morning-me-time! As soon as that is possible (after the newborn phase, after the thoothing phase, after any illness...) I always make this my No. 1 priority!
Thank you so much for the content! I have a almost 3 year old and am due in February and am still finding ways to cope with it. My son is great but has been presenting challenges with sleep, eating and constant attention. I try to stay consistent but its honestly really hard when days can become battles. I try for the general guideline throughout my days but when my second comes I feel like I'll have to change everything again for myself and for both of them. I will try to take some of your tips down and see how I can adjust them to my situation
I love this, I wish I had it when my girls were babies. They're 9 & 13 now 🤗 I will try to apply some of these ideas to my current lifestyle. Thank you!!
Girl! He doesn't climb out of the crib?!?! Mine was climbing out at 10 months. He is a bull, though. Lol. He terrified me one night when I went to check on him and he was in my bed. Hahahaha!
I am due with my second child in the next few weeks and my daughter turns 2 in June. I have completely forgoten how hard a newborn is and besides that, watching your video has taught me 2 things. 1. You are superwoman 2. I am going to be in way over my head and I'm freaking out.
My son is 3.5 months and he only sleeps 4.5 hours still at night. Getting 4 interrupted hours of sleep is so nice. Can’t wait to get more than that…. Then have a 2nd kid and start all over again!
My daughter is gonna be 10 months in a few days and I already want my second baby 🥺. I’m getting baby fever off my own baby. Thank you for this video! 🙂
I've been wanting to watch a video like this and this is exactly what I needed to understand what it's like as we are trying for baby no 2 God Willing ❤
Literally watching this as we're being released from the hospital with our new born and our 2 year old is waiting to meet their new sibling. I really wish I can routine my life. I have a 18 months old toddler, and expecting my second on September.. freaking me out . She make things so easy .
New mum to a toddler and newborn! I have a 3 year old and a 4 day old! This all sound's so exhausting! I don't know how I'll cope when my partner goes back to work!
Adoooooooooorable children, u r with the best company. With all the hard work. U r so skilled at taking care of ur dear ones. Times fly, though. God bless 🌷🙏❤️👏☘️👍
Gosh my daughter was the same way as a newborn. Only would sleep for maybe 30-45 mins at a time. She had reflux, and the nights were MISERABLE for me. I literally dreaded every single night, it was just....terrible. It’s been a looooong journey with her sleep. At 15 months old she wakes 1-2 times per night and I can live with that lol.
Your daughter's hair and morning stretches are EVERYTHING!!!

your son is so calm & not destructive 😫 I cannot leave my daughter alone anywhere.
You're such a good mom. Miles seems like such a sweet kid.
That 5:30-7:30 window gets sooo much easier in the summer!! When he can play outside after dinner, it’s warm and wow way easier I love it lol
I learned, albeit the hard way, getting up a few hours before my children is so important to my mental health. I use this time to list what I have to do for the day and then I have an hour of Bible study.

This was the least overwhelming toddler and newborn routine video I've seen. You seem very down to earth. Thank you for sharing this.

What a good idea with the light to teach your son that he’s not forgotten! The light just hasn’t turned green yet! Lol that’s really cool
Oh my goodness she's so stinking cute! That hair! She looks so much like Miles too.
You got it, Kallie! My favorite line is:" Moms are very resourceful and innovative!" Indeed they are!!!

My kids are grown and I STILL love my me time in the morning. I need my coffee in peace. I'm a morning person too. Finnley's hair! ❤️❤️
Thank you! Just had my second baby and finding it hard to find a routine. I will definitely will give your routine a try.
Seriously so lucky to have help with naptime. I have been struggling with that so much! They both are melting down at the same time :(
Love the idea of adult only dinners! I am a grandma now but I am constantly amazed at new moms and all of the things you juggle!
Omg she’s sooooo cute happy Mother’s Day. ❤️
Her miles routine video from a few years ago gives me all the Christmas feels. Definitely in my favorites library.
Your babies are precious! Love those first morning stretches :)

Happy Mother's Day to you . Enjoy your day !
Just ordered the Stanley water bottle! So excited!
My son is 3.5 months and he only sleeps 4.5 hours still at night. Getting 4 interrupted hours of sleep is so nice. Can’t wait to get more than that…. Then have a 2nd kid and start all over again!

Oh yes that time before they wake! Great content thanks
My day was made when I saw this was a DITL video!
Literally watching this as we're being released from the hospital with our new born and our 2 year old is waiting to meet their new sibling. I am a widow with five children so trust me I understand. Thank God my youngest is 11
I can relate to the time for myself in the am!

Love this!! I have a 4 week old and this video gave me hope 😩 I barely have time to spend time with my hubby
Thanks for doing that. Where do i find that information on baby sleep?🙏🙂
Thank you so much for make this video! Me and my hubby have a son about Miles' age and we've been wanting another. But I was terrified! This makes me feel more confident that it is the right decision for our family. So thanks! You're awesome!
It’s funny how you called the evening time Finnley’s witching hour. I called it the same thing with my daughter, who will be 10 this month. We realized she had colic and she needed to be physically held, sometimes for hours on end, just to be comfortable. So this was 2-4 hours of me on my feet holding her and bouncing her and myself until whatever she was feeling went away. That lasted a few months but it certainly knocked off the baby weight fast lol. My son did not have that issue and I was so grateful. No one likes seeing their child uncomfortable or in pain. I also would lay her down and push her little legs in and out, almost working out the discomfort she was feeling. But if I wasn’t doing that, she was in my arms and her dr told me I had to move too, not just swing or rock her. And then one day, the issue went away and my baby girl wasn’t uncomfortable anymore. Idk if that’s her issue, just sharing what her witching hour consisted of.
Omg your amazing im adjusting with my 2.5 year old his sleep is all over the place atm and 3month old who has slept through from day 1 bar night feeds😅. Ive subscribed and watching from the UK.
Do you have a link for the sound machine you have for Miles? I believe it would help my 2-year-old as well, also any link for craft ideas would be amazing. Thanks so much.
Happy Mother’s Day!!! 🎉🙏🏼😊💐
That sounds pretty good! I’m still struggling to convince my husband to have one more, my 15 month old still wakes up twice every single night and it would be so hard if the second one is not a good sleeper
Love your baby’s hair ! She is adorable.
Some day you’ll wish you had these days back again. I never made time for myself. That would have been in the wee hours of the morning. Yes. Enjoy every second when they are young. 🤗 Don’t complain. Don’t wish them to grow up. It happens too fast already. My sons are 32, 28 and 20. Time flys!!!!!!!!! ❤️💚💜.

I literally dreaded every single night, it was just....terrible. It’s been a looooong journey with her sleep. At 15 months old she wakes 1-2 times per night and I can live with that lol.
Happy Mother's Day
