I wish they had forgotten about it because we wouldn't. My mum introduced me to shows when she was a kid like the Smurfs, He-Man, She-Ra, all those old last quarter of the 20th century shows and I love them. Things don't truly need a reboot, just let the parents carry their childhood to their children. Let them experience a tiny bit of what it was like when mummy and daddy were growing up. Getting to see that as a kid makes them curious about our lives and gives us something to share with our kids early on in life. The best thing is for us to bring these shows forward to the next generation, not make reboots that are so far off from the original that it is painful.
