Here are the differences: Better softer suspension, different audio, different tailgate, doors when closed now sound like a bmw closing not a skoda. Less cabin rattles, new padding in the seats both front and rear, no cargo cover, quieter cabin,

    I bought the FSD and really of the currently available function, I mainly use the steering and auto lane change. Navigate on Autopilot is very annoying. Slow to change lanes, and when it does change lanes, it is usually at an inappropriate moment. One annoying part about is passing a slow car and then wanting to move out of the fast lane to get behind another slow car. Not to mention if you cancel a lane change, a few seconds later it wants to change lanes again for the same slower car.

    So I just got my Model Y long range with 20” induction wheels built in Giga Austin today. It came with the AMD Ryzen chip and 2170 batteries. I already have to have Tesla fix all the doors and tailgate because they are not aligned nor even. It does come with the trunk interior overhead cover and plug charger. I put my order back on December 2021.

    Regarding the safety score: it felt like obtaining a high safety score meant being safe to the point of stressing in normal road conditions involving general public.
    Then when you let fsd beta drive there is absolutely no chill or safe feeling as the fsd tailgates [as the safety score featurewould tell me] and brakes in a manner that would have your safety score reduced.
    I understand it's a work In progress but not sure this chill setting is accurately titled in fsd =b

    Hi Ryan. I have mentioned your channel on the Forum Teslamotorsclub. Unlike some other channels, I like your global coverage rather than taking a parochial approach. The UK has had EAP as an option along with the FSD package. No way would have gone for FSD at that price but I did go for EHP. My red MY LR arrived yesterday. The club members, me included were very pleased with the Shanghai build and finish. I thought I would not mind, when I arranged for her to go straight to a detailers. However, I wish I was driving rather than typing😀. Now, without any announcement or confirmation from Tesla UK, a number of yesterday's collection customers believe Tesla has PPF'd the front of their cars. Can your sources shed any light on this please?

So if they'd offer EAP at $100 (since there's less features) that would be awesome...I don't drive long distances enough to really make either option worth it but be much more inclined to fork out $100 to try out EAP than $200 for FSD...if that makes sense.

      I’m 3 1/2 years into my ownership (Model 3 Performance, FSD). FSD has been a great experience watching it evolve In capability. The car is faster smarter and more capable than new. Fuel savings of $2500+ per year, zero maintenance costs over 46K miles unless you want to count the new tires. Zero time in service appointments except one chip upgrade for FSD. In a word, phenomenal. My best guess is if you experience the same $3500++ in gas vs electricity and maintenance cost savings, plus your time savings avoiding service appointments that over a multi year ownership you will find the Tesla to provide commanding economics and performance and reliability. Does FSD or EA observe turn signals on other vehicles. How many times a day do we react to vehicle turn signals. Humans can see turn signals on all vehicles and they are all different.
    Say if you see that you might be in a big rigs blind spot and you see the turn signals come on. You might surmise that you need to make a change. A dumb Tesla will just sit there. Am I right? I don’t have mine yet.

    It’s all very worrying for Tesla buyers: what appears to be on-the-fly respeccing cars left right and centre implies service centres potentially being overwhelmed by multiple differences and parts availability.
    Just imagine in ten years’ time the number of parts required to be kept for each model when models are being constantly tweaked in production.

    • @tesla_tap
      @tesla_tap ปีที่แล้ว

      Every car maker has multiple vendors and change parts as the need arrises and often use multiple vendors for a single part to reduce risks. Unlike others, Tesla does make changes more frequently to constanly improve the product. I'd guess 99% of the time the new part is backwards compatible - meaning if it fails, you don't buy the old design but get the very latest improved design. In addition, they track every single car with every part used to make that car. Should it later be found that a part was sub-standard, they know eactly which cars have the part and only need to address those cars. For example, Tesla found one (yes, only one) Model X had design error. They recalled that car and actually replaced the entire car for the customer.

    Basic autopilot without lane change is worthless. Any lane change disengages it. Who drives only in one lane? Auto lane change should be included in basic autopilot. The other features in enhanced autopilot might be worth a $2000 upgrade, but at $6000 it’s way overpriced.

  • @seanperris8290

    Here is the bottom line: Tesla prices are through the roof. It’s the hyperinflation phenomenon. Model y now cost over $70,000 after taxes add to that interest charges so you will end up with a liability that would eventually break your bank. There is no saving in gas because you will end up paying way more than you would spend in gas and maintenance should buy a combustion car. Until Tesla brings back the prices to 40k model 3 50 k max model y 70k model s and 80k model x, spend your hard earned dollars elsewhere. Just my opinion for people with common sense.

    EAP just seems like an easy way for Tesla to make money with little effort. Half or most of the EAP features should just be part of the basic autopilot. With the insane pricing, that could have been a way to help people justify increased cost, but Elon doesn’t really care about customers. I honestly wished he just left Tesla to be a board member only. He is doing more harm than good.

    Elon is to blame for all these... solely. 1. he has betrayed investors by trashing the value of Tesla shares. 2. He has willfully drained many millions off Tesla books for 'pet projects' that have no near-term or direct benefit to auto quality manufacture. 3. he has betrayed the american buying public (and world) by price gouging, lieing to us all that these were to pay for more expensive materials when over 60% of those price increases went for the fast money 'quarterly profits and margins'. 4. he has ruined Tesla by letting the 'best' project managers (Cyber and Semi) go to other makers; and brought in 'yes men worshippers who advise him to seek the fast buck at the cost of quality, lifespan and buyers'. 5. he has drained millions off Tesla books for things 'not necessary' with constant insane changes to construction projects. 6. He has lawsuits at every level, women, workers, managers, engineers, state governments and the Fed.. most are unnecessary due to a entenched lack of human dignity and self control in management. 7. He and his co-founder (who boldly said batteries should not last more than 10 years, when other makers say they should last over 30) intentionally ordered designer-engineers to 'lower the life expectancy' of Tesla vehicles as to systems and components late 2020 into early 2021. Result.. over 18 recalls, two had in-shop physical repairs and using OTA as 'band-aide' fixes to the poorly designed components and systems. 8. He has surrounded himself with 'fast money worshippers' who care NOTHING for longevity sustainability or the environment. 9. His cars are quickly over-priced becoming just another Detroit 'crappy quality' where Consumer reports and others 'fairly' rate Teslas as substandard in quality... selling SUPER high priced cars with poor design and poor finishing is inexcusable. 10. He has welcomed the expansion of 'fix it tents' at Fremont and 'whole buildings' internally to constantly fix the SUPER high rate of failed-manufactured units.. he has not the will or humble intelligence to face the 'true core' of this high-rate of failures. 11. .. he cares more for politics than babies, and more for 'money' than human life and quality; he continues to play 'games' and has only this past week started to realize 'the worship managers he selected, are liars, thieves and con artist'... and yet, he has not gotten ride of 10 of them.. he blames the lowest white and blue collar workers instead... very communist ideological of him... and destructive Detroit like poor leadership. Tesla is a 'mid-level' short, and never a 'long'. It will pop briefly above 800 est.. for those wise to get out... but will fall below 480. NOT because of economy, but because of his inhumanity and irresponsible choice of 'bad execs and bad choices for fast buck'.. Tesla, once our MOST praised darling in 2020... has changed into a detroit crappy over priced car company... for a fast buck on the backs of buyers, investors and workers alike. Betrayal. Get out, as others have... and stay out. THis company 'already died' when it betrayed its buyers, it's best managers who left, and it's shareholders.
