I'm enjoying the heck out of your adventures. I'm in the PNW, and have been using HH since 2000. I started with a symmetrical classic (birth canal) and about 5 years ago switched to the 2 layer Jungle Expedition, Asym. But about 6 months ago I switched again to a Dutchware Chameleon . I was having claustrophobic issues in the HH 10'. The Chameleon is an 11' hammock. I have not hung the Chameleon between trees yet, just been using it with my Tensa4, about a dozen nights. But I can't live without (well I probably could, I just don't want to) my snake skins. One for the tarp, another for the hammock. You need to get some snake skins, makes deployment a snap as well as bug out. Anyway, keep your boots waxed and you ketchup bottle full.
Thank you so much for that comment! I really loved to read it. I am looking into getting myself a chameleon hammock, since it is so dynamic. But it consts a lot, and also I need to pay extra taxes to get it into norway. I have bought a tarp from Onewind, with a snake skin. I feel like a little kid waiting for it. It's currently in sipping. Again, thanks a lot for you insightful comment! 😁
