We can’t compare 2013 Marc with 2024 Acosta. Marc fought Rossi till last lap. Pedro acosto is good but he did one overtake and it was hyped like crazy. Give Acosta some time he will give us a wonderful GP experience. I already believe that Acosta is an MotoGP champion material.

No aero. Back then the benefit of the slip stream overpowered the disadvantage of the dirty air of following. Today’s bikes create so much dirty air that the disadvantage it creates for the following bike overpowers the advantage of a slip stream. If you try follow somebody today, the front tire overheats and you won’t be able to make a pass. Which means the leader has the best tempts in his bike and can fight off challengers with a better bike than the one trying to pass.

I was remembering this also. I truly hope that KTM doesn't do anything to put Pedro's career in the same position as Honda put Marc's and Yamaha put Fabio's. But it was great, and emotional, to see the 2013 clip. Just thinking of how far Marc has gone in the last decade and still see that he still has the drive abd ambition even though there is nothing left for him to win. He is so inspiring. I truly dont know where he pulls from but I just hope i can continue to see him for however long he decides to keep racing.

@@A.J.1656 none in particular, but all the bikes from 2013 in this video sound great. If I remember correctly they were all screamer engines meaning the cylinders have an even gap between firing. I think today’s engines are big bangs which makes the cylinders fire quickly then have a big gap between the next time they fire. Every little detail contributes to the sound, and in my opinion the sounds of the bikes in that older era of this video were the best.

Great marketing excercise, Acosta racing a long race like a sprint with no concern about his tires while everyone else is managing their pace to finish the race. What not to like, you get all the overtakes' pictures and headlines!!💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼

Marc is alert and brave to overtake, don't care anything, especially poles or points, although those paths were really dangerous, sometimes it's too risky. No one can do as him. Importantly every race could make FCs.feel excited, so fun ! He's the legend, king of overtake, I think.💥

Looks like Acosta is going to be a Champion either this year or in 2025.
The competition is way harder now for Acosta. He finished 9th 11.5 second of the lead. 2013 Crutchlow finished 5th, 18s of the lead and Dovi the best Ducati 24s behind in 7th. Iannone that also finished 9th was 37s behind. Another fun fact is Bagnaia finished over 3 MINUTES ahead of Lorenzo that won in 2013, Lorenzo would have been almost two laps behind xd.
Marc has hold of the greatest story in sports until the Summer Olympics kick off in Paris.
His comeback has captivated me and Nadia's story is off the chart in the sports world.

That's not me, but I'll help you out. He's a spoiled brat. His championships are the result of Dorna and the FIM assisting him throughout his career. He crashes into everyone all the time. His careless riding and crashing has changed the outcome of multiple championships he wasn't even in contention for. Alex Marquez is a better rider who earned his world championships without any intervention from the sport's organizers.
Sorry, I don't have anything to say about Rossi, he has nothing to do with how horrible Marqueef is.

Marc Marquez being a spoiled c*nt with zero class has nothing to do with Rossi, but since you want to talk about him, we can talk about how Rossi finished ahead of every single rider he competed against in the primer class (including Marquez) from 2000 to 2018. Fabio Quartararo was the first rider to come along that Rossi didn't ever finish a season ahead of. That 18 year span of being able to beat every competitor is a feat Marc will probably not be able to match. Marc's ability claim he's beaten everyone ended in 2020. He had a good 7 years.
