    Honestly, she's really friendly.
I remember when i came there, she straight up asks "want buy for your mom again?", and I laughed coz she knows that I always buy bak kua for my mom in indonesia.
big respect and kudos for her and bee cheng xiang :)

It really does taste better when it's kinda charred... I guess a workaround is to buy their loose bak kwa. It's not perfect squares but it's all the leftover little bits including the burned edges and it's delicious

BCH , your Bak Kwa is selling like gold, your year end sales ,enough to cover your one year rental fee. Touch your heart for your selling price. Don’t mislead people into thinking that CNY must eat Bak Kwa? Who said boss?..anytime also can eat. Don’t tell me salary increase , not enough manpower, overtime or the usual bullshit. One kilo selling at $90.00. Ask your Relatives to buy la. Hear what they said? All frozen pork, intend large amount store inside freezer, use apple woods why not use lobster wood can sell must more higher price. I never buy Bak Kwa during CNY. I MAKE MYSELF.DONT fool auntie, make a honest businessman.n your business will flourish.

All I'm seeing is a company failing to adapt to changing customer tastes. When asked for more burnt bits (like those valued with roasted meat) they refuse to entertain the request and stick to their "standard". They need to self-assess if their vaunted "standard" is falling short of customer preferences. Absolutely no reason to be inflexible in this instance.

Dude. If it’s me I also won’t sell lah. Use brain leh. They have to protect the company image. Later W guy just take pic and upload online why so charred. Internet goes crazy over it. Reputation goes down the drain. Lol. Why even bother to give a chance to such scenario. Try going to a prata shop and tell them you want your prata black and charcoal burnt. You see will sell you anot. Standard and consistency.
