@@kadie8627 How did I not think of Adam?! That would be perfect. I'm a little jealous of you for all that snow. We're missing ours here in southern Minnesota. I hope you have enough to keep you busy!
For names, I’m thinking Old Testament. Rachel (or even Raziel), Ruth, Esther for girls. I could even see you going Magdalene as a play on Mary Magdalene, but not as on the nose. For a boy I suggest Hezekiah. Hezekiah was a king, like David. Basically Hezekiah’s story involves him purging the high temples of “idols” and then God “healing” him for doing so and adding 15 years to his life. And in those last 15 years he became very prideful and God gives him a life-threatening illness. And that story is bang on for Fundies
@@allycat0136 I love all those names! I definitely think the Fundies would name their children for the lessons they hoped to communicate to them and the world. Can imagine the engagement on the birth announcement?!
Hey Erin, was a little busy finally finished watching thus. I love the start of the second season of this challenge. I think it will be intresting to see how well gen two holds up to the standards once their parents pass and what they might start to let go of a little. For instance with them traveling amd being into social media, would they be the first to have a raido or TV. I could see them having at thr minimum a washing machine and maybe they still line dry. As for names. I hope it's a little girl first. If it is I think Ester would be a good one. The beautiful queen /princess of her parents /watchers eyes winning the hearts and souls of the sim would around her. Bonus if she ends up being proper. I could see the parents pushing their children to be social media stars which means they would probably value charisma skills a lot.
@@Angelbearpuppy I love those insights! I could definitely see them prioritizing charisma and creativity and having a radio or TV, but they would be sure to only watch "Watcher Honoring" shows. They would be seen as hip and cool Fundies, lol.
@ErinPlaysSims just ate up to a young adult so now she's going to take over for her mom and I just got the pack the werewolf pack and the one we're at the wizard and she's a witch
There's the usual biblical names but since they're influencers they probably wanna be ~unique~ So maybe some girl names could be Abilene(where John the Baptist I think started his ministry? idk its in the Bible somewhere and its cute!), Cana (where Jesus performed his first miracle), Keziah (the daughter of Job born after his suffering) Boy names Amos, Hezekiah, Malchus...maybe even Zebedee!
Of course. Will you get the media influencer desk that came with get famous and the drone that comes with it. Come along and watch my life type of podcasts
For girls, Esther, Miriam (my personal favorite) Leah or Adah. I would avoid Mary, Elizabeth and Sarah, as those are so common, and I know Fundies, especially ones that are big on social media, would never go so plain.
@@queenally2873 oh, Miriam is such a cute name!! And I think you're right, they would never name a child something that didn't make people ask questions. After all, what better gift to give your child than the opportunity to witness?
@@ErinPlaysSimsmaybe as a second name to honour the Bible. There are also some fundie group that tend to stay inside their ethnic heritage like Amish groups would favour Swiss names, they also like to repeat like naming the kids after the grandparents.
omw so excited for Limestone and Bonnie!! :) Donut suggests Peter, Andrew, James, or John for a Simblical boy name. Want to guess why Donut favors those ones? :) He tried to convince me that Elwing was Simblical but Donut, Silmarillion isn't the same as Simble. XD
@@ErinPlaysSims It means "star-foam" because she was born by a waterfall, under the stars. Elwing in the Silmarillion I mean (for those who don't know, she's the mother of Elrond, from The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings etc., and his twin brother Elros)
@@sarahvanorden670 Those are great names! Adam is such a good first son name and Sarah is really pretty. Whatever names get picked, I might see if there are any weird spellings so that they can get as much attention as possible, lol.

ok, now that i've watched the whole vid, i suggest Mary for a girl and Joesph for a boy,(is that grandpa's name, I'm doubting myself now. but i think it is quite common to name the first-born boy after grandpa.)
Oh my Watcher, you're right! It would be so cute! What if we introduced middle names, too? I am totally psyched for this gen. They have grandparents and cousins and aunts and uncles!
I'll have to finish watching this after i get back from the vet. but i did sneak a peak at the comments, so i know one thing that's coming.
