This is a totally useless Governor & need to accept he cannot govern. Nairobi is not only about physical developments..There's completely no enforcement of bylaws, zoning laws, ordinances, noise pollution laws & many other regulations that ensures livability. Nairobi is too filthy, all sidewalks are occupied by hawkers; school children, the elderly, the poor public have to walk dangerously on the roads together with vehicles. Licensed businesses that pay rent premises, utilities, salaries, taxes etc have to compete with unlicensed hawkers selling same products outside their stores. Sakaja will turn the entire Nairobi into a sprawling Gikomba market. All organized stores & shopping centers will have to close.
The sheer amount of revenue lying idle all across Nairobi via fines & penalties is astronomical. Traffic fines if were to be collected Nairobi would be ontop.
There's no functional administrative policy governance in the wards, they are all just ghost workers. A governor who can't spread management says there's challenges. Storm Drainage systems are clogged up & antiquated open design where Mwafrikas litter with abandon. There's no anti littering enforcement.
Illegal construction & trash burning at night goes on unabashedly with no NEMA enforcement. Sakaja can’t even imagine a 24/7 enforcement patrol. He keeps crying revenue yet Nairobi is capable of collecting 10billion a day if a smart manager with a good mind could run the city.
Sakaja is just hopelessly useless & clueless how a city need to be governed. He relies on token physical projects & populist emotional gestures to hoodwink the ignorant masses inawork for primitive political expediency
    ..
Jeff you know how Mayor Jualiani changed New York, do you think Sakaja is capable of such turn around? IMPOSSIBLE!! He got no intellect to manage even a cattle dip

There's a beautiful nursery school - now ECD centre in Upper Hill, i hope it's still there and the land has not been grabbed and its still in use by Nairobi kids.
