I know of a cemetery you might be interested in. It's a very old German cemetery located at 2601 Co Rd P54, Algona, Iowa. It's on land of one of my cousins. They have been mowing it for 3 generations. According to the oldest generation, all he knew was that it was a German community that had a church and the cemetery. The church was gone before he was born (1904) and only the cemetery remained. The community was also gone and no one knew what happened to the community other than it died out. There used to be a large number of stones in the cemetery, but many have sunk so low, they are under the grass or fallen over. He knew that when his father purchased the acreage for the farm, the cemetery came with it.
I don’t think I watched all these in order so I apologize. I just can’t get over how much care and information you give. I want to thank you for sharing it. And I love when you tell the history of the people and their lives and you take care of them when no one else does, God bless you🙏🏼💖✝️🌹👍🏼
God Bless all of you for doing this . These are all old grave stones that are breaking apart over the yrs . And now with all you helping to restore them family members have someplace to go to and respect their family
Hi there! Thank you for the work that you do. Could I bother to ask you about your 2x4 tripod setup. I’m looking to source that tripod bracket that you’re using. Could you point me in the right direction to finding one?

How interesting, thank you for sharing
What an art. The cemetery and surrounding area was beautiful thank you for sharing .
That was a great day of learning, I learning again watching your video. Nicely done Wade.
In doing a little more research I do believe it was only O. F. Oleson that died in that accident. There wasn't a brother.
Correct - they are two sides of the one stone, each side in a different language, but commemorating the same person.
Video was so relaxing and educational. The slow views of where you guys are was so beautiful ♥️ You guys are such artists!
Another great video, thank you Wade!
When it's warm in Iowa, you might want to check out the grotto in West Bend.
