    More people should make videos like this. The help page for Hondata is quickly brought up by pressing F1 and on top of that, their explanations are so good you don't even need to be a tuner. The KTuner help page is so useless.

    Watching from UK I have experienced k tuner replies. Although they did help me get rid of a voltage error in a tune which took ages. Great video ❤

    Thanks so much for this video, Ktuner support are a bunch of snarky a**holes that just tell you to go to a professional tuner and waste your money.
    So in my 2.4l (k24z3) 8th gen Accord Coupe, Ive got the eFlexFuel kit and made the easy conversion to flex and it handles the tuning for the ethanol content but to go full e85 I need bigger injectors.
    So right now I’ve picked up a set of 450cc injectors from CleanInjection which should be big enough compared to my stock 310cc injectors but I’m having some trouble navigating the Ktuner software and finding what I need to adjust. In my Closed Loop Settings I finally found the fuel trim setting that has STFT min and max, and LTFT min and max like you showed on here. Not sure which I’m supposed to use for reference for adjustments to the cylinder fuel trim. And then when it comes to the MAF scaling (which you don’t seem to have on yours) I have the long horizontal chart of AFM Flow with voltages to g/s whatever that is and then the AFM Fuel with mg/stk to ms on its tables. This last one seems like that I need but I’ve no idea how to approach adjusting it.
    I’m just looking to safely up the injector size but I really don’t know what I should be trimming fuel from and by how much.
    Any advice you have would be greatly appreciated 🙏

      @macsethed123 Here’s an update, I went the way of trimming off cylinder fuel trim by -40% because my new injectors are about 45% larger and then they came with a flow chart and specific injector dead times so I adjusted the dead times as well, but after starting it up, the open throttle of revving it was fine but right when I let off the throttle and it starts to go down in rpm, it feels like it hiccups and then after it gets under 2000rpm it shutters and bunch like it’s going to die and then it eventually finds an idle again, nd that happens every time I hit the gas. Not sure what I’m the lower load/rpm range that’s causing it to almost die out but it’s not viable to drive. I reflashed to base tune and started it to see the stft results and it was trimming only about 30% off the larger injectors but still had the decel issue so I swapped back to my stock injectors and now it seems to drive relatively like it did before. Just need more tuning advice and knowledge to figure out what’s wrong and how to compensate for it 😵‍💫

      Unfortunately Alex stopped replying to me for about the same time we started talking about the tunes (Three days). I have attempted to reach them several times on email and the original chat room of youtube. Sent a copy of my datalog and then got completely ghosted. I’m not saying to not trust them, but this is my experience with them.

    I’m confused to why my disables/monitors menus aren’t working. I can only check misfire monitor. Same with ignition fuel cut

      @tylermcdonald3174 different series Ecus have different features locked & unlocked. Ktuner website shows ya what Ecus can do what. I scrolled threw it before I ordered my ecu setup.

    I just bought ktuner rev1 for base auto. I wanna turbo and I’ve got to learn this on my own. Not many tuners on the island… most running flashes. I figure I’ll run k20a3 base map for turbo for now. Wish I’d known how sh1tty ktuner support was. I’ve got one here not out the box yet and already regrets. 😢

      Warning. The moment you change the map sensor to a 4 bar your auto transmission will lock up. You must stick with the stock map

    I agree lots of cocky tuners out there, I mainly tune aem and hondata, been trying to find info on ktuner and check interface, but ktuner blocks you, have 05 type s normally get aem ems series 2/ infinity but it's my budget build, hondata mod kpro cost as much as my aem systems, figure give ktuner a try, see lots mistakes ktuner youtuber try show how to tune, ill til you this much tuning your two step as your first step not correct order, waiting for the ktuner to arrive, been thinking about starting a channel, maybe for my first series do ktuner walk through and how to street tune the proper way

    I have a question I have an a civic that’s running lean because of my short ram intake do you have a tutorial on how to bring the fuel up to even it out?

      I doubt it's the Air intake causing it, fuel trims would correct a difference that small.

      what about if you had a 3inch catback exhaust? what should i adjust so that the tune can account for the extra air going out+ my SRI intake bringing different air in? this is the only thing that’s holding me back from doing it myself, this video gave me confidence thanks 🙏

      @IGstaticseba I would look @ other variables, usually a exhaust & intake pipe won't cause a drastic change maybe effect fuel trims by 1-2%. Nothing the ecu can't adjust for automatically. Maybe something in the fuel system, are you using a ktuner base map or has it been tunned?

      @@satchmo-k24 my car came with a ktuner v1.2, already tuned. afrs are super stable WOT is around 12.4 and crusing its around 14.4, so nothing wrong with my tune, but i want the pops and bangs and i want to adjust my 2step and vtec engagement.

      @IGstaticseba watch "Tunning by Nick" channel. That's how I learned too do the pops & bangs. It's pretty simple once you see how too do it.

    Nice video just finishing up my kswap civic, car starts up fine ad idles normal for a second but idles up to 22k not sure why it’s doing this k24a2 stock any suggestions

      Yes, with turbo a setup it all comes down to proper ignition/fuel tuning. Ktuner is a proper software to achieve this. 👌

    What happens If my vtec engage speed and disengage speed are set at 0? I have my tsx k20A swapped and cracks vtec when it’s cold and go goes away completely, oil pressure is good the vtec solenoid is good tried 3 with new gaskets. The vtec just goes away and don’t know if it has to do with the tune.

      @hei8574 that's a weird one bro, the cold temp vtec engagement is the clue you need to follow. That's what I would research. Vtec isn't supposed to kick in until operating temp is reached as we all know!

    How are you my name is calvin, do you still answer questions I’m having a idling issue when I start the car it idles really low and then eventually come up to 950-1000 rpm when I turn ac on it drops to about 400 rpm do you have any suggestions

      You can either Add more Rpm too the "idle post start idle target" . Ktuner also has a "AC ignition timing feature you can add or Retard timing from for AC idle & driving compensation. More timing = higher Rpm, less timing = lower rpm at idle

      So my VTEC lower engage is 5000 and disengage is 4800 if I want to change it to where it engages at 4000 is that safe and does that mean the Disengage should be 3800 and would I need to change anything else?

      Hey cuz I changed mine to 4100 high engage and 5100 low engage. The high number is Wot and the low is part throttle. I set the disengage at 200rpm lower than each value. This is for my 2012 si that has same motor and ecu as u

    idk if its just me but i have a 08 si and v2 ktuner have an intake on it and throws a lean code. im trying to change the fuel map but it doesnt give me a fuel map option at all. wondering how do you get that? cause when i used hondata on my old civic it gave me an option for that. ktuner has yet to help either

    I know it’s been a year but on the rev limit my ignition cut is blocked I can’t click it 0:59 same with the fuel cut it’s blocked

      Different honda Ecu's have Different features unlockable, that's why there is more desirable ecus than others.

      Do you have Antilag option unlocked at the bottom? Antilag has to be turned on to mess with rev fuel cut.

    Wanted to ask you I had someone set my tune up and I noticed he disabled my secondary sensor but I have a cat and secondary sensor will this affect the way my car runs? Can I uncheck or will it need retuned? Thanks 🙏🏽

      You don't really need secondary O2, especially if you live in a non emissions regulatory state. The upstream wideband is all you need for proper tuning.

    Where do you adjust pulse with for colf starts? I'm on e85 and it takes a while to start

      Doesn't have that feature, Here in Indiana during the winter, I just follow the so called "30% Rule". During the winter time i Add 30% more fuel to the "cranking fuel" table.

      @@satchmo-k24 thanks for the quick reply. I'll try it out, I adjusted all the fuel tables accept the cranking fuel table. The car runs great but just takes a while to crank. I just changed the settings, need to load it but hopefully it fixes it

      Pretty sure it depends on which ecu you use. Some have mor than others from the research I've done.
