Lesson learnt: mothers-in-law and wives shouldn't see themselves as rivals competing for a common object of interest.
Also husbands/sons should not find them self torn between the love for their mother and that of their wife. These two are not to be compared. A mother is a mother, while a wife is a wife. Each has their functions and exist on different levels in the life of a man. No comparison at all should be allowed

Lovely story, the Queen was bitter because she did not experience her husband's love and did not have a friend to share her worries with and get better advice. Your son is your son not a replacement of your husband's love, and he is an individual on his own with his own needs ❤
I was desperately waiting for this part 😊
The king and queen needed to mend that relationship as well. She "felt" unloved. But the lack of communication led her to feel that she needed to pour her love into her son and later depend on him for everything. While a mother/son bond is a real thing, it needs to end once the son grows up. IDK if this is cultural or not, but her refusal to allow her son to meet with any other women signaled a problem right there. Thankfully the entire truth was revealed and over time, forgiveness was granted. Thank you for concluding this story.

This was a very happy ending. The poor lonely queen sought and got forgiveness and she opened her eyes to her family. Her son grew a set and I hope the queen and king mended their relationship. It's sad that she felt so unloved.
