There are also bases for rewild & release program to add new blood from the captive population to the wild population and vice-versa. And many others. And there are also others that are not under CCRCGP, for example Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, Qinling Giant Panda Breeding Centre to breed the Qinling Panda subspecies. Since the captive Panda reaches a high number, many zoos in China wanted to loan Pandas and there are a large number of Pandas in zoos all over China now. And some Panda are actually owned by the zoo, for example Beijing Zoo have their own Panda.
