I like the idea of the edge control in a tube. I hate getting all the products under my nails🤷🏾♀️

OMG good to know it’s not just me- got this product the other day and was so excited to try but used it to lay the front of my hair in and updo and halfway through the day I look in the mirror and my hair is flaking like crazy!!!

The style looked nice . I'm wondering how it would react to being used as directed. If it still flakes then it's just trash and not user error.
The shine is good. How much of the jar did you have to use to achieve your style? It’s hard to buy gel that costs $10 when you can get that good tub that always works for $5.

Hair came out beautifully, but as a professional this is why you have to follow the directions properly and that goes for any product being used. It does suck when you purchase things that don't love up to your expectation. I do have purchased this product, like you I've experienced some pros and cons-licensed cosmetologist

My hair, when product-free, air dries like its blowed dried too! Your face when you called the diffuser a denman brush hahah! So funny! Your hair came out beautiful, though! Will you try the gel again with a lighter application? Great video as always!

Being a cosmetic chemist by trade...... after reading the ingredients this is mainly a gel base with a fixative... nothing major. I think people are tripping off the new texture of it.
I love Taraji, but I need for all of these people to stop coming out with hair products. I will watch anything she is in at anytime because she is a wonderful actress but ummm...It’s a no for me.

i have to tell you.. i was on my way to the dermatologist as my scalp was just acting ugly, i am natural and have gray hair that i dye in light browns and blondes.. my scalp was always hurting, just painful, with big time flakes and then i would get sores and eventually scabs cause i couldn't control the scratching... i started using TPH never salty scrub and then added the master cleanse and the issue is gone. it's been almost a month now and i can safely say i don't have to go to the dermatologist again.. her ish works. i listened to her testimony which encouraged me to try the products and i got to give it to her.. her solution for scalp relief is on point...

I dont think I've seen a review where it was used as recommended and it still flaked. I think it was mentioned in the video here that the nickel size was probably to avoid flaking, yet...

my opinion on taraji getting into this business is different, i think its great that more black women are claiming stake in an industry centered around us but not owned by us. hope she uses these reviews to make her products better and continue going, nothing wrong with multiple avenues of interests/income 🤷🏾♀️ her story is inspiring and this move could inspire other young black girls.

Why TF did TPH think she can just dive into the hair care line business?? She isn't particularly known for her hair/hair care. She mainly wears wigs and hairpieces in public and on screen for the most part. I've only seen her "real" natural hair a few times. It seems it is just a money grab for her - just hopping on the trend trying get coins. That's why the product is no good. I don't know if it is any good, but Tracy Ellis Ross has a line too, but at least she is somewhat known for her natural hair - even though she is mixed. Just saying..... wrong move TPH. Stay outta this race. You don't know enough about this.

Your hair looks really good tho. I would probably use the gel for twist outs or braidouts since it does define but not heavy. That edge control looked good too. Id probably want it in a regular container also tho.

am so sorry that this happened to you. I feel like celebrities should definitely stay in their own lane at times. However, this industry is so profitable, they just want a piece of it too. Not to ride on the back of your tragedy but I would like for you to try my line of products, Theloveofpeople.com. They address a lot of the problems that you state was a problem with this line.
