TheRabbitFear Glory killing in ultra nightmare is actually pretty dangerous. It can get you killed because of the high damage from enemies. It's usually heavily discouraged by most U Nightmare Speedrunners.

Spending ammo roughly equally so you can access any of your guns when you need one in particular. Also so that when you encounter supplies or perform a chainsaw kill, you could make the most of each deposit.

Yes he does. Just rebind the weapons around your movement keys and make use of your mouse buttons. You can bind 3 weapons to the scroll wheel on the mouse "some mice can do 5", and if you have and side buttons you can also make use of those. Just do what's comfortable for you.
To elaborate: one of the very first rooms will unlock upon killing everything in it. I don't think there's a way around it either. And then there are similar places, and ofc bosses that trigger progression events directly upon death.

I found it helped a ton during nightmare, most attacks that killed me were the charge attacks enemies do and I have invincibility while I glory kill

If u upgrade the saving throw u get two saving throws instead of just one but it does reset on death
