    Something a little different, but I would love to hear Airbnb, hotel or creepy vacation stories from overseas. Like going to America or Europe or even other parts of Asia. The Japanese perspective on going to other places would be interesting.

      You want one ? I got one for ya. 2 years ago, my former co-worker who happened to be a close friend to me as well went to a full month holiday in Bali with his family and his brother's and rented a huge villa with a huge swimming pool that even got heater so you can swim at night, nice rooftops and other great facilities (you know like most villas in Bali). The only downside is that some parts of the villa was designed with Hindu deities in mind that makes it kinda looking eerie at nights. So, one night, he went to a swim (close to midnight) alone while his daughter and wife already fast asleep and his brother's family doing something else. Saw a children figure as he swam that made him panic thinking his 3 years old daughter was standing right beside the pool which was dangerous (since his daughter couldn't swim at the time). As he left the pool, he saw no one and rushed to the room to find his daughter was asleep. Next night, they heard children footsteps outside their rooms and they checked out the day after, switching to a different villa or hotel

    I also heard recently about a phenomenon in Japan called the Standing Girls, or something to this effect. Girls who are tricked into paying off debts because they fell in love with a con man at a host club.
    If there is a girl who managed to catch on, or somehow avoid this fate and are warning other lonely girls away from this love scam, I want to hear her story.

    I'd love to hear more about Japanese ouija boards/spirit board games some time. Maybe even give a nod to xxxHolic tackling such a story where Watanuki and Doumeki went to a school, wearing Chobits style headphones, to rescue some girls stuck playing Angel-San, a variation of Kokkuri-San. It's one of the earliest stories in my favorite manga/anime series of all time, but it remains in my head as my formal introduction to the dangers of contacting spirits with selfish intent/disrespect for persons living or dead at the table.
    Hair and Heavy rain - last train were my favorites in this set.

    So I recently watched a Japanese film called “death tube”. It was directed by yohei fukuda. I think stories about hackers, the dark web, and strange websites would be cool. There are lots of rabbit holes on the deep web, and hearing stories about it from a Japanese perspective would be very interesting.

    Anyone who doesn't question gossip about someone they don't personally know, is a little too brainless for me.
    EDIT: I can't be the only one who thinks it's more shameful and humiliating to be used like a condom in someone elses' plot to fuck somebody over? Why volunteer for that? It's okay to leave it at "I don't know if that's true or not". You don't have to pick a side just because someone else is running their mouth. And you should always question the motivation someone could have to be talking shit, too. Don't just happily agree to be someone elses' tool.

      Something happened in our town. A gal spread a rumor about her ex being with a married woman. The women’s husband kicked her out of the house. The gal who started the rumor admitted later that what she did was messed up and it never happened. Who knows what happened with the married couple.

    • @dt6283
      @dt6283 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@JNightmares That's understandable because translating isn't easy and you're trying to keep it entertaining. There's just this trend in "true scary story" content where the immersion is immediately broken because the narrator seemed to have broken out their thesaurus and poet berets to use verbose similes.

    Hi J all of these stories this time are just as great and terrifying as always especially the Yandere one. Like seriously what's with the Japanese women becoming so obsessively "in love" that they go as far as hurting others or stalking? Then again that kind of behavior happens all around the world even here in the U.S. I guess it's just that we don't hear stuff like that that often

    • @thurayya8905
