I wish there was a karaoke of the acoustic version of Plush from the Headbanger's Ball, which is the version that's on their Thank You album. All the acoustic karaoke versions of Plush I've seen here are from MTV Unplugged.

Listening to say the Staind - Outside official video then the karafun version, it is quite obvious (as I started the playlist in that exact way, but please, do it with this song). An unplugged version without vocals would sound much more clear and crisp. A studio version without vocals would sound as you would expect. It is just a side effect of making these type of things without having actual studio versions with all the tracks and eliminating just the vocals like you will find with real, costly karaoke versions of songs that acquired the proper rights etc. So be thankful for the version that sounds like a teenager who just got a used car from the 80s with a built in 10 band equalizer, turned up the bass, turned down the treble because kids :)

Also, there's a little slide on the second string from the second to third fret at the end of the fourth measure which is completely absent from this cover and never absent from any performance by STP.
