This is what I call "drive thru the night, kind of music".
This gets the feeling that you are alone in a dark car during the night, where the only light you see, is from the streetlamps that flashes by.
This is a remix that resemble a lot from the album Violator, between the tracks, World in my Eyes, and Policy of Truth.
Absolutely love this remix.

I think that Martin Gore never wanted to return to the sound of Violator, or continue in that musical line. Those lovely beats that we fans adore forever. Classic synthpop. Perhaps by looking for a more experimental context, he moved away from the rhythm. The last song that came close rhythmically to that idea, I think was "Precious."
