HeavyProfessor never got in a car with him, he was a substitute, he told us to work on workbooks so i did while the class harassed him about how much he could bench lol
There are so many nu-metal influences as well as some metalcore. I think it's awesome to see this band mature their sound. They've come a long way and I'm super happy with this album it was definitely more than what I expected
To be frank: The chick's voice reminds me of the easter egg songs that played during when you played Zombies. In other words, I'm going to go slay Zombies now...thanks Harm's Way.
+Gary Richardson I heard Prong right off as well. Was wondering if anyone else got that. And now I completely hear the Godflesh, too. Its like Godflesh without the electronics.
Fuck what people are saying this album is great. Not as good as Isolation and a little better than Blinded. I really love the sound they had on Blinded though I was hoping they'd stick with that.
Isolation was good and Blinded was alright but this album tops anything they've done simply because it's so much more mature and the production is top notch. I'm definitely happy with this
where are people hearing slipknot in this? the vocals? im not hearing slipknot at all i hear some 90s sepultura and machine head possibly. not catching any similarities with slipknot.
I don't want to say anything or sound possibly negative because HW is a beast band.....but am I the only one that hears more Machineheadcore than Entombedcore? Either way it's still an enjoyable album, just a bit of a evolutionary curveball that's all.
Harm's Way should have offered packs of adult diapers with a preorder of this album, for the metal heads that... well, you know... can't contain themselves.
I just found a new favorite band. I am very picky. I need a certain tone of vocals and guitar mixed with good songs. I am so relieved i finally found some good soothing music out there.
I stumbled upon this band at a live show, opening for Carcass. I only knew the meme, I didn't know the band. They blew me away and I went straight to the merch table to buy Common Suffering. Now it lives in my car stereo.
Harm's Way never disappoint. Saw them in Calgary two or three years ago, they slayed. One of the best live shows i've seen next to Aborted and System of a Down.
I like the sound of this. I still hear their roots. it sounds raw and primitive and hard hitting but it seems more groovy with good production quality compared to the other stuff I heard of them. I guess it's them maturing musically? I don't know what else to call it. bottom line is I dig it and I'm gonna buy it.
I hear godflesh, prong, swans, helmet, a bit of 80's and 90's noise rock, fear factory, and of course 80's and 90's hardcore punk and metallic hardcore, there is a bit of early nu metal maybe but it is only light sprinkles, I agree with sus KNOW A THING OR TWO ABOUT MUSIC, not gatekeeping just telling it how it is.
This album contains 60 grams of protein and 24 essential vitamins and minerals per listen.
Super unique from harms way, the deadlifts are calling my name
+Marcus Sewell (Colossuskiddx) bro....do you EVEN lift?
+SicC678 only when the pit is calling my name lmao
lol. the pit always calls...to those who feel the music for real!!
When the lead singer is your substitute pe teacher 😂😂👍👍
Not bullshit, i had him for drivers ed
Jacob Rodriguez that's funny haha. is he a good driver?
HeavyProfessor never got in a car with him, he was a substitute, he told us to work on workbooks so i did while the class harassed him about how much he could bench lol
321jng he is mine too
Jacob Rodriguez he benches a lot?
Kinda wish this band was in the DBZ movies instead of Disturbed :/
What's wrong with Disturbed?
So unique so heavy and so good. harms way still wrecks
DAS IT MANE
I was on the fence until around 33:52, when those vocals made me immediately jump off the fence.
There are so many nu-metal influences as well as some metalcore. I think it's awesome to see this band mature their sound. They've come a long way and I'm super happy with this album it was definitely more than what I expected
YxvnGoon "nu-metal" "metalcore" "mature their sound" HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Found myself wanting to mosh a lot to the middle tracks and that one chicks voice made it more badass.
To be frank: The chick's voice reminds me of the easter egg songs that played during when you played Zombies. In other words, I'm going to go slay Zombies now...thanks Harm's Way.
They should have the beginning track in the new zombies maps js
I wanna go play zombies now.
Dan Kiaresh hey dan
***** fuck no
Sounds like Prong and Godflesh had an evil hardcore baby.
+Gary Richardson I heard Prong right off as well. Was wondering if anyone else got that. And now I completely hear the Godflesh, too. Its like Godflesh without the electronics.
+Gary Richardson And also a tinge of the slower end of Celtic Frost.
Gray Anderson ohhh omg u hit the nail on that I was thinking the same thing lol
damn I can hear it!
Fuck what people are saying this album is great. Not as good as Isolation and a little better than Blinded. I really love the sound they had on Blinded though I was hoping they'd stick with that.
It really is great dude! its not about the how it is recorded its how they deliver a song. but i have to agree with the previous ones though
Isolation was good and Blinded was alright but this album tops anything they've done simply because it's so much more mature and the production is top notch. I'm definitely happy with this
***** I love this album for being groovy and slow as hell. But i miss the variation on their previous releases. You're right!
+Darren Paradissis (DJ) this album is so badass.
I didn't know Slipknot was putting out a new album already.
+Mark Hundley No No No, these guys are actually decent at playing their instruments, on record and live.
+SicC678 Slipknot is great and so is this band. Slipknot is on of the best live bands.
+Mark Hundley What's wrong with Slipknot exactly?
Ah that could be. Thanks for the clarification.
where are people hearing slipknot in this? the vocals? im not hearing slipknot at all i hear some 90s sepultura and machine head possibly. not catching any similarities with slipknot.
I don't want to say anything or sound possibly negative because HW is a beast band.....but am I the only one that hears more Machineheadcore than Entombedcore? Either way it's still an enjoyable album, just a bit of a evolutionary curveball that's all.
I definitely hear some Machine Head influence in their music. I think it's cool as fuck
Sean Wright slipknotcore
Gus Chiggins Was exactly thinking the same thing when I listened the first song !
+Sean Wright Sounds like Sepultura or Soulfly at times.
sound more like the first throwdown then machine head
Harm's Way shitting on everyone else in 2015. Beast Mode. Turnstile definitely not stoked. FTW.
you make no sense
***** cool opinion yo
the whole thing I think is sic
+TKOprovidence I see what you did there
a perfect combination - industrial hardcore. I can not think of any other band
Code orange kind of walk along those influences but mostly are lighter than that, cause they also got a bit of grunge/alt rock influence
Stupidest sub genre names coined together. Ever.
Leeched
saw in seattle last night and these guys fucking killed it. such a great set. sounded really nice, good energy!
The screaming reminds me of from first to last! I'm not really into metalcore but this kinda cool!
+Josh Shaner You're insane -_-
Can't wait to see these dudes in January!
If Dismember and Entombed embrace some NYHC I think it's close enough this. Awesome riffs, awesome hm2 dist.
HARM'S WAY is the best !!!!
*Description* :""""Brutally and meticulously refined, “Rust” brilliantly combines industrial repetition (think Godflesh), metal attack (think Sepultura, Helmet, Celtic Frost), and hardcore aggression."""" YESS !
Infestation is a hardcore masterpiece. That drum intro :33333
Up there with Scrambled imo
My ears are bleeding and there's shit in my pants.
HorstEwald Good music will do that to you.
Matilda Persson
Exactly! :D
Marcy
My shit's are bleeding and there's ears in my pants?
+HorstEwald hahaha i love you
Harm's Way should have offered packs of adult diapers with a preorder of this album, for the metal heads that... well, you know... can't contain themselves.
Best substitute ever
The drum mix reminds me of Slipknots Subliminal versus. Love it.
I just found a new favorite band. I am very picky. I need a certain tone of vocals and guitar mixed with good songs. I am so relieved i finally found some good soothing music out there.

This album tells me to lift more
This is their zenith XXX
The start riff of amongst the rust riff reminds me of slipknots liberate
Oh Cool, Norma Jean got a button-pusher
best foundation album
FUCK YEAH
People who call this nu metal know nothing about music.
Y'all would probably call Swans and Killing Joke "nu metal"
this is nu metal lol
This is it does have plenty of nu metal in it
sounds like Fear Factory
I hear godflesh, prong, swans, helmet, a bit of 80's and 90's noise rock, fear factory, and of course 80's and 90's hardcore punk and metallic hardcore, there is a bit of early nu metal maybe but it is only light sprinkles, I agree with sus KNOW A THING OR TWO ABOUT MUSIC, not gatekeeping just telling it how it is.
I know what you mean. People who know nothing about Helmet or Crowbar think nu metal invented this kind of downtuned groove.
it's like SlipKnot
Underrated album! 10/10 guys!
got a very Sepultura vibe....
was scrolling down until I saw someone say it
slipknotcore
Gabriel Rodriguez they are not slipknot gosh
billy p lol no shit. Slipnot has a way faster pace than this.
Damn they got that chick from flyleaf??
ur mawshing
The first 25 seconds of this album strongly reminds me of Nine Inch Nails, anyone else?
I hear MetalZone pedals...
First song was shit imo, but from Cremation it's really fuckin badass again!
lol Marcus sewell
Ektomorf
Ektomorf n Fear Factory
Not a big fan of the intro, but for the most part everything after that is quite nice !
This shit is wet
recycled riff city
Total Hypocrisy Catch 22 vibe!
Lol nu metal is back.
TERRIBLE
You love drugs
Knife2TheBrain I wouldn't recommend that, I've tried that, believe me, it hurts. well... i haven't died yet.
keepitwolfson Imagine a world where you weren't forced to listen to music you didn't enjoy.
YxvnGoon Same but I think this album is badass.
