I took your advice and read up. I was aware of the long struggle for independence of west papua, but I did not realise it was the result of being sold out by the US back in the 50-60's. Another victim of global power plays by the sounds. I wish the people of West Papua luck and strength in their fight for independence against their indonesian oppressors.
