after starting with these videos in January I can understand when you are talking about the target notes! My fingers cant go this fast yet but these vids are a massive help to my playing!
Good to hear mate, I think it's important to study / breakdown just one lick sometimes, things can get a bit overwhelming when dealing with multiple licks over a 12 bar blues, when notes remain the same but the properties change depending on the chord that's traveling by. Working on one lick, to a Vamp Jamtrack just for that chord is great practice, break it up, move it to other keys etc etc, a small lesson can go a long way. But only if you let it. 🙂
D.G......wondering if you would be so kind as to tell me what device or software you are using to slow down the Clapton video..that keeps the pitch along with the slowdown video......thanks for the good work on the breakdown of this lick...very generous thanks for sharing
Cheers for the feedback, appreciate it. First I download the video, or do a screen record from TH-cam. Then open the file in VLC, under the Playback menu you can slow change the speed with a slider 🙂
Danke!
Thank you so much. Really appreciate the support 😎👍👌

Excellent
Cheers mate, so much Clapton to do 😎
Fantastic Dan thanks…. You wouldn’t believe how much your lessons are changing my playing… thank you 🙏
That's amazing to hear Michael. Thats my plan, to be clear and go through things slowly so people can learn it. To many people showing off on TH-cam 😀
Thank you again Dan
You’re welcome Megan 👍😎
Another great lesson Dan. Minor tweak (no pun intended)- the double note at the end of the tab should be 12s.
No extra charge for mistakes, as Guthrie would say 😎
Another great one, thanks Dan!
You’re welcome, appreciate the positive vibes 😎
