When pressing the button from the inside of the car to use this feature my car throws a “Check Park Assist System” in the digital cluster. When trying to move it using the smart remote it just turns off. Anyone else have this problem?

I think this feature is more for those a$$hats that park so close you can't get in safely to your car. Happened to me once, I had to do some Cirque du Solei moves through the passenger side to leave. Dude was lucky I didn't key his f'n car before I left
Yep. Not a feature you want to use to squeeze into a spot with. Yeah a garage employee once parked my car next to a wall and then parked another car on the other side amd I couldn't even squeeze in. I had a hatchback and I had to crawl though the trunk.
It’s cute and all, but that means you’re more likely to park into a spot too small for any normal person to squeeze in between, so you might park like an idiot between two cars, and then get surprised when you come back to see there are scratches on your door from OTHER people struggling to get in.
Cool but gimmicky. If a parked car is that close to your car (making it difficult to get in), I'd be more concerned about door dings. I actively try to leave plenty of space when parking mainly to prevent dings.
Not just about door dings. I left a bar one night and it had rained. Car was now parked in a huge puddle. Thanks to this feature, none of us got our shoes wet.
