- New surveillance video shows the power of the tornado that ripped through a North Texas school on March 21, 2022.
Cameras inside the Jacksboro Elementary school and high school showed the principal leaving a hallway just moments before the storm causes the roof to cave in. Another camera caught the tornado as it blasted through the walls of a gym. Another gym was also destroyed as at least one wall came tumbling down.
A football field was also destroyed, as the tornado knocked over a fence and caused the goal posts to wobble in the wind. Students went back to school on March 29, but workers are still trying to repair the school.
Wow! Very scary! The man at the beginning of this video was very lucky! Someone was watching over him that day.
Teachers: "New homework assignment. Write an essay over how we determine the cost of Tornado damage. Due tomorrow."
I wouldn't be a bit surprised. My son's school actually makes students stay at school later than usual the day before Thanksgiving. Idiots.
And the goal post is still standing! Those goal posts are a lot tougher than they look!
Doesn't mean stand under it while a tornado is approaching!
At 2 of the schools I went to they said the Gym was the safest place to be 🤦. Just because a room is big doesn't mean it's safe.
The pole in the end mocking the tornado for not able to knock it down
The cameras: this is fine
That football pole at the end
0:32 OMG you could literally see the twisters rotation that’s what it feels like to be in it
No honestly it looks too small, i think thats a subvortice which have even more intense wind and just orbit the the main tornados
@@Hyperfoxeye Subvortices can exist within the main vortex as well
Camera never dies
Camera and cameraman never die
"It's ok, we're safe. We're inside."
Entire wall collapses.
"NVM, we're outside now." 😳
0:48 FBI OPEN UP
I moved to town that day and watched it in person crazy
0:38 is that comes up
I wanna know if that guy was okay..... Was he by himself?....
The scariest part is when the person runs out then the mirror in the basin not reflect the person
It is so weird
Except it does.
@willfanofmanyii3751 The second and third mirror do not
Dude is a vampire lol 😆
So apparently if a Tornado is coming grab a camera because the camera never gets touched lol
Why are there bathroom sinks in the hallway? (At the beginning of the video)
It might have been part of a gym/locker room or some such thing and part of the building was remodeled into a different purpose. They might not have wanted to bother remodeling that section (or couldn't get the funding) so they just left the sinks in place.
Did it blow anyone back to Mexico? Just wondering
Wow!!!
Hope everyone was OK.
Everyone was fine
Wow
Goalposts!!!
the dude in the beginning was running for his life and yet i made fun of it by just playing seek theme over it.
I'll bet you Cody Parkey wishes he would have had those goal posts
👍👍👍
Tornado destroy a new high school with students inside
❤❤❤❤❤❤😊😊❤❤❤❤❤
Thays sad.
I don’t understand why anybody would live there
It's a school. People live in houses, not schools.
Tornado Taxes yeah?
0:33 did you see the twister itself
0:08
Paper buildings. Sucks.
It's made out of freaking brick, dude.
Bro
It is so weird guys like what
Funny how Americans make their buildings from cardboard and chewing gum, and then spend the money on storm early warning systems instead.
Why wouldn't we spend money early warning systems? It's not like much could stand up to a tornado. We spend plenty on earthquake proofing buildings. I'm sure if "tornado proofing" was possible it would be done.
Yeah because schools always spend the fundraiser money on stuff we didn’t even ask for and/or need so that’s why it’s cardboard and crap
@@TyphonJRT come and see the houses of brick and cement they are both tornado ,fire and earthquake proof
@@user-ir3dj7dx8e the school in this video is made of mostly bricks and cement, and was still destroyed regardless.
@@user-ir3dj7dx8ea powerful tornado can scour the pavement off a road and launch a bus. I’m not sure any house above ground can survive a bus through a wall. if you want tornado proof, build underground.
