- The Pandoh bypass to Takoli section of the National Highway 21 (NH-21) is one of the most challenging hill-road projects in India. Despite many civil engineering difficulties, geological and geographical challenges, harsh climate, pandemic-induced delays, and a busy highway, the project has taken little over five years to build. The project, with its mind-boggling features, will provide all-weather and safe connectivity to tourists, locals, and, to the armed forces while moving to forward areas like Leh. Here's how this extreme engineering project unfolded.

Just came from a Himachal trip .. Drove my car from this road .. truly world class infra . Some worj still pending but one can’t unnoticed the work done in this tough terrain !! Hats off to team and to present government for the vision !

The team is focused on gaining sympathy from the public to hide flaws and poor construction quality issues. Just look at the quality of finish in other developed and developing countries they look FLAWLESS AND MARVELOUS.

seen this section of the highway develop during my many trips to himachal. if you see them in front of you, you'll know how jaw dropping some of these tunnels, bridges are , believe me

No , the stretch from kiratpur to mandi will be opened this month and stretch from mandi to Manali in next 3 to 4 months 👍 after that you can reach Chandigarh to Manali in minimum 6 hours and maximum 8 hours 👍🙏
