    You sharing how you choose colors and how you balance them on a page is valuable information for those of us who sometimes stare at a black and white page. Looking at the variety of pictures you had colored and slight details and touches gave me ideas to try. I want to save this as a video I go back to from time to time to help “inspire” me. Thanks Karen ❤️

    Thank you Karen. Very useful. As a beginner I just follow your plan and colors. I find that very relaxing and comforting. Every now and again I get inspired to do things a little different. Then I follow up on that intuition. I also accept that I am just beginning and not have to be perfect. 💚💜 Your colors are so beautiful. I learn so much from your tutorials. Thank you so much for all the time and effort you put into this. 🙏🌷

    Thank you so much for the information. I’m new the art of adult coloring...but, as I like to joke, I am NOT new to being an adult! I have started taking pictures of my coloring during the process, usually using my phone, and then looking at the photo on my iPad which shows it larger. I just did this with hair that I colored and it looked quite splotchy. I went back and redid a few spots, taking a photo along the way, until I was happy with it. I have my first face in this same picture. I have a set of 20 Polychromos. I will practice on scrap paper until I find the right combo of yellow and brown...

    Hi Karen. I hope you had a great Mother's day. This was so very helpful! I really like your color choices and the way you can make pictures just pop off the page with dimension. I can be a perfectionist which takes the fun right out of coloring. In one of your videos you said something along the lines of not getting upset if you mess up, it's just a page in a book and that's what I keep reminding myself now when coloring. It's been very helpful! Thank you for sharing all that you do! ❤

    So much fun to see your thought process. I think the thing that’s helped me the most in my endeavors is taking photos along the way, you see so much that you’d miss with just looking especially if you don’t have anyone to bounce ideas off of. The camera doesn’t forgive much if anything. Good news bad news. Thanks Karen for a fun and informative video once again. Keep well.

    This was incredibly helpful. I’ve been coloring since I was a child but not at this level and I am just starting out. Your videos are wonderful, your pieces are so beautiful and so inspiring. After watching this video I will no longer go willy nilly through my pieces. ( actually, I don’t have “pieces” yet but that’s my goal, gorgeous like yours) I wondered what title of the book is with the girl and the crows and also the bunnies with the heart? Thank you for your contribution to teaching us how to color❤️

    Thank you for sharing this video is so helpful! I'm interested in trying Derwent colored pencils and curious if you prefer their Coloursoft or Lightfast quality/color selections better? I'm just now learning about all the different types of colored pencils haha.
    PS do you have a video for those cute bunnies in the snow? So cute!!

      @ZucchiniKitty  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you. I am in love with the Derwent Lightfast pencils, they are colors that I am drawn to. I have the 100 set, which was purchased in 2 different sets. They are a richer color but a bit harder then the coloursofts. The Derwent Coloursoft are a soft creamy pencils with a wonderful range of colors, the set is 72, but for colorbooks it has it all, both pencils are a good choice it all depends on price and personal preference. Here is a link to the pink bunny page, hope this is the one: th-cam.com/video/6Cz-yRHNhRM/w-d-xo.html
