This is my remaining places of my childhood thats still standing and i STILL go there! Mainly for an occasional Friday evening dine outs! Back in 2019 i went there on Halloween and it was VERY crowded! That moment really felt like if i were there back in the 90s, back then we used to trick or treat in the malls and that included the ORIGINAL Menlo Park mall!
I used to go to the Woodbridge Center Mall in my childhood years with my family. I'm in my 20s and its been well over 15 years since I visited the mall. This video brought back lots of great memories from my childhood. There used to be a Playmobil store located at the 1st level of the mall and I was sad to hear that it closed down in 10 years ago in 2011. Good to see the mall having kept its 1987 mall look. I hope they don't renovate it anytime soon. Not many malls in the state of NJ that I know of have kept the original interior and exterior design. I should really visit this mall again.
Wow what a great find from Raw & Real Retail! Love the similar format that always calms me down (maybe the pacing is a bit faster than RRR but I'm being picky haha). Also love the music you chose that are what a lot of Vaporwave artists sampled from. Subscribed!
I reside in Sarasota Florida as I viewed the Woodbridge Center mall video as the same scenario at Sarasota Square mall. Our Sarasota mall has closed Sears & Macy's, but Costco, JC Penney & AMC theaters have survived. It is so discouraging to shop at JC Penney a few weeks before Christmas. It will never be the same as the good ole days. Very sad to witness!
well done and much thanks I personally despise malls the home of the fickle flippant and frivolous ever wandering aimlessly, ever squandering priceless hours to idle conversation but it is all part of Americana one of my passions. Infinitely more rewarding are trails and hikes That is where the splendor is, the endless exuberance of soul , the incredible inebriation of the spirit, all from a life that keeps rushing past us like a stupendous river at once too mighty to ever hold and too sweet to ever let go. My sincerest wish for ypu and for all who want to be utterly amazed and totally engaged is first the One who spoke like nobody else and then and then Acadia National Park in lovely, lovely Maine

Same here. My childhood mall. I can smelling through the video.
Fantastic job! For the first time with a new device, this was stellar. Love your style too, some awesome tunes represented here! Kudos.
Used to go there on Christmas Eve to do my Christmas Shopping. It was more crowded then.

I don't like bugs or I would go hike in the splendors of nature too
Wonderful Mall Fountains!!!! F+L, Corey
You’ve done a great job for retail archaeology. Judging by the lack of people this will sadly be closed down before long.
This was shot during mid pandemic. I've been to this mall and it's in no danger of closing.

I went to the USA for the first time in May 2024 and my friend took me to this mall on a Sunday and it was heaving, so many people.

They sold great drugs back in the arcade in the late 80’s but it got shut down. They found out .
Go to American Dream. I would like to see how that’s doing.
Maybe eventually. I will try.
That place is beyond packed most of the time. I like the place. I hear the mall is having some financial issues recently again though

NO FOOD COURT
This mall is old fashioned, thus why it doesn’t have a food court. Instead, restaurants are just scattered around the mall.
