I am considering to buy one, but very worried about corrosion on the frame and important parts.. Unfortunately Nissan suffers from this problem especially at this age these days.. I also wonder if you ever needed to change the timing chain, dealers and sellers would like to tell chains will never brake, but there are many many stories who tell otherwise..
Mine now has 390,000 KM. Never changed the timing chain. Although timing chains are metal and are less prone to breaking, it does happen from time to time. If you don’t replace the timing chain and it happens to break, then the engine can completely destroyed.

@@harshadealwis2977 Thank you for reaching out! And can you tell me something more about the weak spots to lookout for when it comes to rust/corrosion on the frame? And what engine are you running?
Also have one 2006. Love it. One owner 10000km before me when i bought it last year. There is a flip at the top inside the drinkstorage to cool the drinks there to. Awsm 4x4 drive.

Auto all the time...
53% front, 47% rear, and it was set up this way to equalize the weight distribution pattern on both axes.

Do you use winter tires?
