Bought my T30 mid 2007 new. Best car I've ever owned and still enjoy driving it in 2022 at 161k. Have pushed it in 4x4 through some pretty hairaising tracks mostly in auto. Prolonged use of lock does create a bit of a burning smell . With regular servicing its served me well on camping trips . Replaced crankshaft sensors twice, one engine mount , shocks replaced twice & aircon condenser and disc pads. Everything other is original. Good to keep given the low mileage. 😁

I have a 2005 X-Trail SE that I bought brand new and has 375,000 kilometres on it. Thanks to RockAuto, things are still going well.

I am considering to buy one, but very worried about corrosion on the frame and important parts.. Unfortunately Nissan suffers from this problem especially at this age these days..
I also wonder if you ever needed to change the timing chain, dealers and sellers would like to tell chains will never brake, but there are many many stories who tell otherwise..

Mine now has 390,000 KM. Never changed the timing chain. Although timing chains are metal and are less prone to breaking, it does happen from time to time. If you don’t replace the timing chain and it happens to break, then the engine can completely destroyed.

@@harshadealwis2977 Thank you for reaching out! And can you tell me something more about the weak spots to lookout for when it comes to rust/corrosion on the frame? And what engine are you running?
