I already trained my brain to shut the stupid start-stop off as soon as the RPM settle down, which is when it allows you to. If anyone knows how to permanently turn it off please let me know.
@whosERUPT Thanks for subscribing! 0-60 is about 5 seconds. The exhaust doesn't really sound great on this car, surprisingly. Be sure to check out our full written review here: carbuzz.com/reviews/2019-audi-a6-test-drive-review-a-21st-century-magic-carpet-ride
Any reports of sunroof noise issues or lower MMI touchscreen buttons non-responsive?? I have the new A6 for about 3 weeks now and have both these issues.
CarBuzz - Thanks for the follow up. Mine doesn’t require a such a “hard” press for top and bottom screen, but I have my haptic touch feedback setting on “light”. It’s just the lower half part of the bottom screen goes out from time to time where it’s completely non-responsive.
I’m just bought one .. what can you advise for power improvements and exhaust sound ? I’d like more power and acceleration.. it is a 45tfsi 2019 thanks in advance!
Nice review!! I live in the northeast and was concerned about the ride quality of 20 inch sport package and light snow handling. Seems like you had no issues with either. Correct? One other question-if you shift down from drive to sport, does that do the same thing as using the Dynamic setting?
You never showed the front AND passenger massage seats (my fave) or the soft door close. It’s also interesting bc teh trim you showed at 17:56 is different car tha then one at 18:30. 🤣
I currently have a 2017 A6 competition s-line. I absolutely love this vehicle, with exception of tight rear seating with child car seats, I have no complaints. I’m curious about the touch screens and fingerprints.🇨🇦
Dwayne Rose - I actually carry a soft cloth used for glasses that I keep next to phone charger compartment and wipe the screens periodically, bc they will attract fingerprints. What you may be more worried about is the lower touchscreen becoming non-responsive randomly. It’s happened 4 times on me already and I’ve owned this car less than a month.
Good for you. I honestly believe it's the best looking car on the road. I've been eyeing this car for the last couple years kind of a little fearful to make a move because of the whole German car stigma costly repairs thing. Never owned a German or luxury car. But now looking at these and Lexus sedans and the RX. If you don't mind just curious are you planning on keeping it long-term or just like a few years on a lease or buy and sell before warranty is up to avoid any potential headaches?
JM M with the exception of a recall for a sensor, I’ve only had oil change service (I purchased the maintenance program). I have the extended warranty which gets me into 2023. My plan is to keep it long term, but may sell it in 2022 so the buyer would have peace of mind having a year of warranty. This is by far, the best sedan I’ve owned. It’s so quiet on the road, lots of power and a beast in the snow. For German cars that I’ve own, Audi, BMW and 3 Porsches, I’ve only had work done on the BMW, and that was under a thousand $.i hope this answers your question.🇨🇦
@@cleanasdirt6832 thank you very much Dwayne I appreciate your perspective. Im a solid six figure earner and I'm quite tired of driving my wife's RAV4 on the weekends when we go out. We're great savers and investors but being overtly frugal can also be boring😄😄😄
It's a sports sedan. Other cars in this segment can do luxury AND sport (like the 5 Series and E-Class). This one is just lacking in the sporty category.
@BP LOL great comment. I honestly believe the Audi sedans are the best looking cars on the road. Every time I drive past when I'm taking double and triple looks. Just curious I'm in the market for either and Audi or Lexus sedan or possibly go with that Lexus RX I've never had a German or luxury car what is your perspective on potential long-term maintenance issues that I tend to hear about on German vehicles, Is it wise to only keep German cars only three or four years till warranty is up? Thank you for any feedback.

Love the review, definitely makes me want one, but would a used on with 41k on it for say around $32,000 worth the buy for an everyday driver?
Yes, bought a used 2019 Prestige model with 54k miles for $31k almost a year ago. Not regretting that decision one bit. Love the car
@@teemosanchez did you buy the v6 or 4 cyl ? Can you use regular gas on either engine without issues?
Maintenance?
Ask us anything about the 2019 Audi A6!

@@ONI1013. not on the one we tested. The bottom screen requires you to press pretty hard until you feel it vibrate.

Very good looking car
Is there an app for remote start on 2019 models? Anyone know?

No, one only affects the transmission. The Dynamic setting adjusts other things like throttle mapping.
Snow was ZERO issue. This car is a tank.

just wondering....do u know chris hansen?
No powertailgate?
The power tailgate is included with the prestige build
I just spent $68k on a 2.0T Premium Plus, for that money the power tailgate should be standard lol.
@@acm1pt374 I think it is on one of the options. I have the 2.0 I4 and it comes with power lift gate either through the fob or foot sensor.
Pretty sure that engine isn’t shared with the A4
He is correct. The a4 part was wrong but it is essentially the same engine as the s4 but the s4 is tuned to give it more hp
Has this got the black optic package on it?
This car did not.

Fingerprints were pretty bad over just one week. Audi did give us a handy cloth in the center console to wipe it down.

wtf is up with people and their potato mics and cameras trying to do a 'review' of this car? D:

MUCH nicer than a Passat.
I guess Bentayga is a nice Audi A4 then?
