I love how simple this episode shows a very important lesson. When your friend’s bummed out you don’t need some random gifts to make them feel better. Your company is perfect enough
Something I only found out recently is people’s love language: Words of affirmation, Acts of service, Receiving gifts, Quality time, & Physical touch. That receiving gifts is the lowest of the 5 for most people
That's a really hard lesson depending on your upbringing. Money solves everything, so let's buy them everything they've ever wanted until they are happy. If that's not working you're not spending enough

Seeing Coco in Chibi makes me really want to see her return in the original series
Once Volume 9 is done, we might see Coco, Velvet, Sun, Neptune and the rest of their teams in the Vacuo Saga.
Considering it's been confirmed through the books her team is in vacuo we will probably be seeing her next volume :D
We were denied a Vol 9 reunion. They’re in Vacuo, but Team RWBY never made it there!

No comedy no violence just simple wholesome goodness and friends being there for each other. This was a very nice and cute episode.
The great thing about this is that whether you see it as two girlfriends or just gals in a good friendship, the genuine care and kindness is still the same and you can love it as it is

Considering how many of the new episodes of RWBY chibi have featured her, I’m convinced that CRWBY are just going through their Coco obsession phase
We're probably headed to Vacuo during Volume 10, so I imagine we're gonna run into CFVY there since they transferred there after Beacon fell.
RWBY Chibi is a good way to set some groundwork for the audience to know some key members a little better.

I've been in that phase since volume 1. It was going away but then they gave her more screen time in volume 3 and now she's my favorite character without even being in the show

@@Scoonertuna well jaune says the tree is supposedly death but they have to go there in order to get back. Then we learn that Alice had a brother that was “sacrificed” to the tree to get home so that means if it’s true one of them might have to stay in the ever after and or die for them to get back.also we lost the cat which is supposed to guide them to the tree so there no way to get to the tree now even if they wanted to.
Though now we know thanks to the paper pleasers it’s more like rebirth but this was what was mostly on my mind.
I can now say after all the ups and downs this volume gave I can say that it was great thanks for the story hope for more.
That sounds like depression to me. Good on Coco being an understanding friend.

Plus it mentioned that Velvet had lowkey crushed on Coco since combat school, and spent a lot of time emphasizing their relationship. The main issue was that it seemed unlikely one of the most prominent lesbian ships would be primarily developed in side novels…and uh…not the most prominent WLW relationship in RWBY now, is it?
