I was really speechless when I saw this Japanese version back in high school. I didn't understand why Namco removed the cutscenes in the US version. The US version was cool, but having this cutscenes is an important element in the game. And I'm still pissed that AC6 is still an xbox360 exclusive... don't get me wrong, I just really hate the xbox360 controller.

Namco screwed everyone over on both AC3 and AC6. not dropping a penny for a 360 to play AC6. no doubt they'll find a way to screw the players again when AC9 rolls around in another 20 years, give or take a few years. AC3 International just feels like it's a stripped down car. wants to scream Luxury yet is forced to be a low-end model.
There is only one brief reference to Nagase in this game. She is listed as one of the subjects of the Sublimation program. I think that the only way to see it is going the Ouroboros path.
Project Nemo actually has the entire game translated and available as HTML files, but they don't have anyone on their team who knows how to hack the game and put in english subtitles. If anyone happens to know how to do that, then you might want to contact them.

the european versione had any of the videos of the japanese version,you couldn't understand the plot,there only were the missions and that was all but it was still beautiful,i hope namco will do a hd remake of this game,and possibly, the european version made as the japanese one

If you want to play the actually good version of the game, you'd have to get a Japanese PS1. But you could still get the Japanese version of the game and play it on an emulator by putting the game in your PC's disc tray and using the Japanese PS1 bios on the emulator. 35-36 missions are nice but the International Edition aka Not The Japanese Edition is not all that interesting without the good stuff. people have been wanting a fully translated version going on 15 years now. too bad Namco didn't Carpe Diem when they had the chance because a group, Project electrosphere is in the process of translating it into English (and other languages soon i think)
every version OUTSIDE Japan was limited to just 30 some odd missions. would love for PA to get off their asses and their heads out of said ass and re-release AC3 properly for the world.
i'm FULLY AWARE of Project Nemo an d the fabulous job they did that PA/Namco refused and STILL refuses to do. especially with AC6, had an opportunity to finally bring it to the PSN with AC7 but no, gotta give us fans the middle finger by making the pre-order bonus for PS4 owners AC5 while XBOX owners get AC6.
The soundtrack in this game is fucking terrible. Every ace combat ever had an amazing soundtrack. This ain't even exciting, it's like blegh. A cheesy looped rock track or an epic orchestra or a mix of both pretty much made this game for me. Even though I'm more of a simulation player than anything. I hate this. And screw anime. ...And before some jackasshole decides they want say some ridiculous horse shit in retaliation for this comment I'll just state this now. This is my opinion. I don't go trolling around videos talking shit about whatever the subject may be. I've played the game before, it just didn't feel right and it was WAY too easy...then again they're not all that hard...anyway. Oh yeah, rectal prolapse!

Check out Ace Combat X. It is futuristic, but not as much as AC3. ACX=2020, AC3=2040.

全てのルートでエンディングを見ると特殊エンディングでサイモン自身にお前は私が作った、とバラされ今までプレイヤーが使ってきた全ての機体のデータ（実はナイトレーベンも含まれてる）とこれまでの記憶を全て入れた状態で現実世界（シュミレートされた世界ではなく本当のエスコン3の世界）に解き放たれた所で終わる

「どのような状況でもディジョンを確実に殺せる」事を実証する為のシミュレーション（全EDクリア時のアレ）。
プレイヤーは横恋慕ジジイの手駒に過ぎなかったて事ですな。
ジジイ（フリーザ）の駒っていうか、主人公の正体もそうでしょう。
ジジイは自分の駒だとか思ってたけど実際主人公はプレイヤーなんだし、レナのエンディングとか終わり方、かなりすっきりしたと思ったけどな。
シンシアとその妹のエンディングも悲惨で良かった。
