looks great i will be painting mine. matt black. will give smooth sand paper coat before spraying, or the matt will scratch off . you done an amazing job looks AWESOME
Yeah, the surface needs to be sanded to have "tooth" so paint can grab to it. The real car is actually semi-gloss dark grey slightly weathered and scuffed.
@@eobardthawne5246 yeah I generally give the plastic a good rub with double ought steel wool then hit it with Duplicolor Adhesion Promoter which acts as a primer which is what I will be doing when I get around to painting mine.
The fronts to short its bothering my OCD just looking at it haha and the intake on the side is over scaled not 100% sure on it ill need to look into others now to see whats up with the toon like front end
Aces man, I watched someone take one of these totally apart to paint but you got better results. Probably has something to do with great airbrushing skills, the other guy was using a rattle can. I've done a tiny bit of brush painting but now I'm thinking I should just mostly get good with an airbrush.
Spray can the particles are slightly bigger, so the paint on the surface might somehow uneven and wet if not spray properly~ airbrush can be a better choices …I bought those less than 80usd airbrush, been using for 4 years… still good
@@vitoprezioso5986 lol don’t need to buy new one…just washed it off with thinner and repaint again, or just spray a layer of grey primer then repaint again~ never gives up!
I haven't received mine yet and I also had no intentions of painting mine since I think it's fine the way it is but this looks incredible! I think you did a very good job. It really looks fantastic.

The paint is great love how the exhaust pipes came out, but I wouldn't have went with the hot toys as a reference as it is inaccurate in color the rim should be all black with silver bat symbols the giant round vent is black as well not sure why hot toys went with inaccurate colors
@@WayneWingedAngel just curious if you would accept Commission request I don't have an air brush and I also suffer from arthritis so I can no longer paint.
Incorrect. The first film's car has bare titanium rims and varying types of silver metals down the side. The Batman Returns car is the one where the rims and sides are blacked out. It also has a glossier black finish.
@@WayneWingedAngel Your version is accurate to the 89 build. Same for Hot Toys. Returns features a more blacked out car deco than 89. The real car WB displays is a restored 89 Batmobile in the Returns colors. The original paint job doesn't exist now.

Those Keaton figures are amazing!

Wayne, I have to tell you I love your work I never saw anyone else paint like you. You are the best at using a airbrush what great skills.
thanks for watching bro 🥹
Beautifully painted, especially the jet exhausts!
I’m shocked you didn’t use primer or at least scuff the surface with sandpaper. Usually glossy plastic makes adhesion difficult. Looks incredible.
Yeah by right need primer, but I’m kinda rush and lazy 😅 the black paint is a base colour, so it covers the original quite well too, luckily 🫣
