Imo Charizard should have just gotten true DMG back, the moves and unite buffs are fine, but now it should take a little longer for seismic slam to build up its gauge, since it basically acts like Slowbros and mimkyus unite move.
Or anti healing on passive which can stack with curse item.
No way. I would rather have its recent buffs reversed as well.
Charizard joins the exclusive club of Pokemon who's unite moves can remove that one specific guy briefly from the game, along with Mimikyu, Slowbro and Tsareena.

At least with Tsareena, it can be countered by unstoppable. But mimikyu, it's an issue to go up against since that unite move can't be countered for some dumb reason

I’m a bit sad the charizard unite cancel meme will disappear, but at the same time now 4/5 players have a solemn judgement unite and charizard also gets a falcon punch as a normal move
Does Muscle Band work on Char again? I thought they made it bad, though I might have missed something
If by work again you mean proc on each multi hit, no. One A press one Muscle proc.

@@sonfero-va8811 Muscle Band’s passive is pretty good and Charizard does a lot of A pressing. It’s a fine item. Is it necessary? No but it’s not bad either.

@@sonfero-va8811 By the way, this was before the newest patch dropped. Now Muscle procs on every enemy hit mainly in a crowd. So anything with an AOE basic can run it very well. So Charizard got better with it.
I think the buff is fine, it's not like it got increased damage or reduced cooldown

@@breloommaster12 basic atk of zard is different from other mons earlier muscle band use to work differently on it after band got changed using band zard is not that good idea , weakness policy or energy amp could be a better option
Unite move should not cancel scoring if have buffed after defeating Rayquaza.
As I was a Charizard main, I am so happy that I might return to Unite this season. BTW I switched to Marvel Snap.

No, it still can! Shedinja Doll makes you completely invincible, Charizard can grab unstoppable targets though

As a Snorlax main, nobody cares about Lax. Any time you mention buffing it people will laugh at you. We just have to settle for mediocrity.

That still prevents charizardss unite since u become invincible for a few seconds. But he can use the unite move when the shedinja doll effect is finished.

Yeah, the Unite move change is stupid. It doesn't solve the problems Charizard had. I have a positive winrate on Charizard and I can consistently carry with him. It just feels stupid that he loses 1 vs 1 against Defenders and All-rounders without his Unite Move + gets K.O. by Speedsters. He doesn't feel like an All-rounder at all.
Right now Charizard feels like a sh*tty attacker, or in niche cases he can stunlock enemies as a passive Defender until he has his Unite Move which makes him temporary a raid boss. But I want Charizard to have a bit more frontline presence like a real All-rounder.
He should have more defence and sp. defence to better survive Speedsters, and just a small bit of shield penetration and heal reduction on auto-attacks on burned pokemons to handle tanks better.
He is broken now for the wrong reasons, and the nerf he will receive will put him in a worse position than he was before. The Unite Move was already good as it was. If failing the Unite Move was an issue, then just give Charizard invincibility as he flies back to his original position

I do not agree at all with this buff. Charizard was already good in the right hands. What they did Is increasing his strenght for the people that do not know how to use zard. Buffing Fire punch and flare blitz would have been enough. The unite buffs make no sense.
I would say as well that Fire Punch buff wasn't necessary at all. It was a very decent move.

You can't target them to unite so it doesn't work
More homogenisation in Pokémon Unite to no-one's surprise... Why bother learning these not-so intricate mechanics when "balance" patches will just make everything easier for you?
For example: if I ever went up against a Charizard as Urshifu, I'd choose Wicked Blow as a counter to its Unite Move, now that decision matters a lot less. And Full Heal isn't effective against it, but they won't reduce the cooldown of that though, even with all the rampant C.C. in the game.

Yes. The change only affected Charizard’s targets, not how others view Charizard as a target
Even so his unite is kinda trash :/ I never have issues dealing with zard so idk why everyone is making this buff a crazy big thing because it’s really not, charizard still get knocked out easy

So now brain dead players can spam the unit move more great, doesn't matter still can be crush lucky enough there wasn't a very good attacker high speed basic attk just go to show. Realistically that's the only buff needed, i mean chris here is prime example why shouldn't be buff practically spam the heck moves set from long distance giving brain dead players this ideas wasn't bad enough from when they finish using unit. Mostly seems they letting the unit be spam without having too much damage just like Slowbro can spam the heck of it but useless, unless it's for team fight or escaping.
