Kind of crazy that this is the third time Kent has played Indiana in the NCAA Tournament. Hopefully this time the Hoosiers don't shoot 15-of-19 from three-pt range like they did in the 2002 South Regional final.
im a hoosier and we will not shoot 15 of 19 from 3 lol... in fact we are not a 3 point team.. hope you have atleast one great big tho lol... cuz we got two and one of the best in the country!
@@nathanseamans2655 how in the world does The selection committee let that happen for a ninth seed?! If the tigers pull that game out, Houston will think they're playing on the road as the 1-seed in round 2!
Iowa vs Auburn, Iowa St vs Mississippi St/Pitt and Texas vs Colgate I like both of the Iowa teams and Cyclones are my team and I think that Texas vs Colgate will be interesting
Houston will go all the way if Sasser is healthy. Primarily they’re a havoc on defense but will need him for offense. Texas is a legit contender too. They’re loaded and have experience. Tough call in this bracket
I agree on your critique on the selection committee and Auburn. Meanwhile Texas better control the game early and dominate from the gate, or Colgate will have millions of people very nervous.
Re-seeding this region knowing what we do now after Miami has beaten Texas to win the region 1. Texas 2. Houston 3. Miami (FL) 4. Penn St. 5. Auburn 6. Indiana 7. Xavier 8. Texas A&M 9. Pittsburgh 10. Iowa 11. Iowa St. (First Four) 12. Kennesaw St. 13. Drake 14. Kent St. 15. Northern Kentucky 16. Colgate I'd like to note Iowa St. should've been dropped in favor of UNC, Rutgers, Clemson, or Oklahoma St. Some of the notable shakeups: Penn St. climbs 6 spots for trouncing Texas A&M and following it up with a narrow loss to Texas, a game they would've won had Disu not had the best game of his life. Auburn jumps 4 spots due to beating Iowa convincingly and then leading Houston at the half. I may be overrating them since they did effectively play at home, but that's where I have them without considering home court advantage, considering it would complicate things too much. Xavier drops from 3 to 7 for barely escaping Kennesaw St. and getting destroyed by Texas more than even Colgate was. Iowa St. falls from 6 to out of my bracket after an all-time awful showing against Pitt.
It's ok; the committee over ranking meh teams from big conference in that 5-6 range is how we get a lot of upsets when a great small conference team whoops em; all the neutrals would be happy to see Kennesaw State make the Sweet 16 which could very well happen.
I hope Northern Kentucky beats Houston because that’s where my mom went to grad school and I want to see another 16 seed beat a 1 seed!! I’ve been anxious to want to see 16 seeds beat 1 seeds in the NCAA tournament!!
I'm probably going to pick Houston but I really hope Northern Kentucky can win I like the state of Kentucky and I'd love to see a small school as a 16 seed beat a big school as a number 1 seed
I hope so I'm picking Colgate over Texas. I like Colgate's name because it reminds me of toothpaste and I find that funny and I'm picking them because I think they could actually pull it off
Man I wished Colgate went to the East or West bracket when they have a way better chance of advancing further to the tourney. Their frosh PG Braeden Smith needs to step up his game against Texas over experienced guards.
My Philly self happy to see Penn State in the Tournament. Good luck to you guys in Happy Valley!
We Are !

Gonna be fun for Miami, go head to Albany New York in March! Bring jackets snow is on the way
Let’s go, X!
awesome post!
💪
If Texas can get pass either A&M or penn state I like the odds of them ending up in final four
Which game are you guys are going to be focus on? Mine is Iowa vs Auburn
The game is in Alabama and without a home crowd Iowa is probably not gonna win, coming from an Iowa fan 😢😢

All Houston needs is a healthy Marcus Sasser. Defense travels.
You said it best. Watched their games, he’s their offensive star. Without him, they’ll rely heavy on defense
Rutgers snubbed

Rutgers: Proceeds to lose round 1 of the NIT
@@ryanamburgy2791 oh the madness ya gotta love it tho lol
I like Texas out of this region.
I don't know why the selection committee gave Auburn the opportunity to host their segments of the bracket.

aggies got snubbed
Yep so did my Nittany lions
Unlike last year though, yall didn't get ousted by Michigan by default(selection choice).....yall got a chance to win big.
Kennesaw St is pumped !!! They can do some damage
😂 lol
My final predictions for the Midwest Region:
First Round:
#1 Houston defeats #16 Northern Kentucky
#9 Auburn defeats #8 Iowa
#12 Drake defeats #5 Miami FL
#4 Indiana defeats #13 Kent State
#6 Iowa State defeats #11 Pittsburgh
#3 Xavier defeats #14 Kennesaw State
#10 Penn State defeats #7 Texas A&M
#2 Texas defeats #15 Colgate
Second Round:
#1 Houston defeats #9 Auburn
#4 Indiana defeats #12 Drake
#3 Xavier defeats #6 Iowa State
#2 Texas defeats #10 Penn State
Sweet 16:
#4 Indiana defeats #1 Houston
#2 Texas defeats #3 Xavier
Elite 8:
#2 Texas defeats #4 Indiana
Result for Texas (and yes, I know this is pretty gutsy): National Champion
He called that pitt win
Xavier as a 3 is garbage
Kent State has a good chance of knocking off Indiana. Upset alert!

It honestly set them up for the easy side of the bracket tbh
