The worst part of the image of the "evil spider man" is him posing in the foreground, wearing his Great Value Miles Morales costume, rockin the dad-bod,only to be easily out-shined by the Calvin Klein underwear model in the background.
Not even Great Value Miles more like bootleg Kaine Parker

30 years later and the 90’s Spider-Man animated series version of Madame Web is still the best one.
And she's voiced by Stan Lee's wife.
Joan Lee is a legend. The wife of Stan Lee. Her take on Madame Web is my favorite bar none.🕸️🕷️
Stan Lee is the Watcher and his wife is Madame Web. Now that is a power couple.
The Shattered Dimensions one is good too.
@@flameroad123I love it, bro! That’s a great take on Stan and Joan! If only the producers at Sony thought that way!🤓🕸️🕷️

2. The amazon
3. With my mom

5. Researching spiders
6. Right before she died
Underrated comment.
@lenindominguez1986That seems to be the general consensus.
@lenindominguez1986 no shit
Perfect writing. I have never tasted such delicious cringe.
This line was said in the trailer but cut from the final film!
😂😂 the Julian roast. He’s the man for taking that in stride
Is that why Chris "Juicy" Herman is gone?
Why is he gone?? I wanna know
What's the dirt?? What's the tea dawg?!
@@1MarkKeller
@1MarkKeller @MrMdarnell09 Chris left so he can focus on his own Twitch/TH-cam channel
@@lorenzoshelby6061the channel has always kind of been a revolving door besides the obvious ones. I’ve liked some more than others, but Chris was my absolute favorite. Some of my favorite episodes in recent memory were the ones he hosted.
Yeah, hopefully he doesn't leave like Chris Herman did...but I wouldn't blame him if he's fed up and leaves anyway. Kidding around is different from constant roasting(which kinda insinuates that they don't like you).
It'll be boring if it's just Korey and Martin talking about movies all the time, and I've been watching this channel for a while now.
35:00 Martin's grimace after this is killing me 😂
(21:48 The Julian cultural appropriation roasting's also phenomenal)
"This movie is a neglected ho!"
- Corey from Double Toasted
OMG I wish they would add this to their marketing, maybe on the back of their dvd box lol
The Spiderman cultural appropriaton comment was hilarious, Peter Parker is wearing web face.
I do see his point. Especially with this climate ready to attack anyone.
Sony treating the rights to Spider-Man IP like an insecure/abusive partner that tells it ex if I can’t have you no one will. They basically ruining the IP before they let Marvel get ahold of it.
Yeah like someone who previously owns a car and doesn't keep up the maintenance and trades it in after the warranty expires
That Julien Moment was too funny😂
Back at the Euphoria set...
Sweeney: they told me I'd be a Spider-Man
Zendaya: bwaaaa🤪
Lmfaooo😂
😂😂😂 that is funny she got the fake Sony spider man. They probably told her this was a spider woman movie
So bizarre to me that they clearly wanted their own Spider-Man movie. And they clearly had the rights to all these less famous Spider-Man characters who have the same powers as Spider-Man, like Anya Corazon and Julia Carpenter and them. But they didn't just make a Spider-Woman movie.
And they had a Spiderwoman right there with Julia.
A Black Cat movie would have been better received.
Get Emma Stone to do a Spider-Woman movie and you might have a major hit.
@SaleemFrazer I don't think direction is the problem. It's studio-mandated script stuff and an unrealistic timeline for completing the movie. Her episodes of Jessica Jones were great.
I think Sony has been at a loss to find a good producer to put in charge of these things since Laura Ziskin died.
@SaleemFrazer
There needs to be an official investigation into why Writing Duo Matt Sazama & Burk Sharpless (Dracula Untold, The Last Witch Hunter, Gods of Egypt, Morbius & Madame Web) keep getting work & does it have anything to do with having Grade A Blackmail Material on a bunch of Hollywood Executives? :) As only the Venom movies of these Sony live-action turds have made any money, it's going to take Venom 3 taking a massive nosedive at the Box Office for Sony to finally stop making them!
I'm convinced they got bare ass pics of the Sony execs or something. That's the only excuse I can think of.
It’s probably because they are cheap
Probably because those guys have actually done good to decent movies before? Like Dracula Untold and Power Rangers to start? Heck even Gods of Egypt had been throughly enjoyable to this day and even more so compared to this film and Morbius. I really think this is more to blame with the studios more than with the writers themselves.
To be fair, if every movie was good, the studios would have to pay all their taxes and couldn’t write them off.
@@keijijohnson9754 Is that you Matt or is it Burk? :)
Dakota Johnson:Do you think it's too late to get a hold of Deadpool, maybe to go back in time and take me out BEFORE i signed the contract for this??Or does Disney have him on lock, now?
that's part of the problem, she didn't do any of her own research and expected her reps to steer her right... the reps probably just saw "in association with marvel" and the commission on the deal and told her it was a winner
@@360.Tapestryyeah, I kind thought the same thing.
Instead of Dakota blaming herself for not knowing her
homework/characters she’s playing or who they’re associated with.
Instead she blames and fires her talent agent, basically for her own error.
Poor Julian 😂
What Happened?
People tend to underestimate how deep Hollywood family lineage gets you, Dakota is Tippi Hedren's (The birds) granddaughter and Melanie Griffith's kid. Dakota can only fail upwards and not to be too mean, but is a mediocre actress as a lead.
100%
Yes. She is not good
Yup i still dont k ow why they chose her as the lead especiallu as an ACTION STAR!? tf
Isn’t her dad, Don Johnson? I like Miami Vice. That’s a good show. But idk if I would watch this movie. I didn’t bother to watch Fifty Shades of Gray and I don’t think I can get over Madame Web being a young boring woman. This character would’ve been better as a side character in a regular Spider-Man movie.
And to be honest, Tippi was a better actress than Melanie. Her dad is Don Johnson, who was a serviceable actor in exactly one role. I have never seen her act well.
Madame Web is a cool supporting/side character, but she ain't meant to be a lead. Not everybody can be David Ruffin or Beyonce, somebody gotta be Otis and somebody gotta be Michele.
Damn...you went Temptations with it...😂😂😂😂😂
Ain’t no body coming to see you madam Webb 😂😂
Exactly some spider man side characters are exactly meant to be side characters and that ok
Good call on Madame Web,knew when they made a film about her it would fail. I felt the same about Venom also.
We love Michelle
Beyond the Spiderverse could use Madame Webb way better than what this movie did
Thought the same thing! They should of saved her for the next spider verse as a supporting character to Miles. Don't understand why they just don't do a live action spiderman 2099 or noir movie.
The should use Madame Web in the 3rd Spiderverse film anyway and pretend this one doesn’t exist.
@@Paiste2002Fanbut the 90s cartoon version. And then look for another actress who’s older to play her in live action. The best thing they can do if they wanna keep owning half of Spider-Man.
That’s not even a debate at this point 😂
@@donnyouttheway4091 I agree, Madame Web is best utilized as a supporting character in a Spiderman project. She definitely needs to be an older woman. The title madame is often associated with older sophisticated women who have the seasoned experience that requires respect from people who meet them. Dakota Johnson is 34, well within MILF territory however the next Madame Web actress needs to be in her mid 40s to early 50s.
Ezekial Sims' costume looks like a bootleg Miles Morales costume.
Korey Kermit the frog impersonation was insane🤣
I didn’t even know this movie was coming out.
If the spider guy has sticky hands and a poison grasp. That is a frog. 🐸
The fact Julian thought that was actually "interesting" is a damn shame.
It’s a valid question 🤷🏽♂️

@@dominicarroyo6269😂😂😂😂 I knew where the answers to his question were going
Madame Web would fit into that Spider-Man TH-cam movie perfectly 😂
I’m honestly so intrigued which fans think is worse, that fan film or this movie.
I can understand them having to keep making something every number of years so they do not lose the rights, but do they have to make movies? Could they have not aimed for a short film or something? That way, they hopefully make a better movie since they have to tell their story efficiently and get out of there. If they did make a movie, they should have at least got people that are known for making decent movies on a budget. I would have liked to see what a Madame Web movie made by A24 would have been like.
But if they did that, then their $300 million dollar film about White Rabbit, another obscure Spider-Man villain, will be all for nothing!
*(Obviously joking, though I wouldn't put it past Sony at this point for making that into an actual film)*
hmmm if they spend $75M a year for three years on crap movies and then the real marvel-led spiderman movie returns to them $500M, they're still ahead... they're basically just holding spiderman hostage for an installment plan. hopefully, this embarrassment will make sony humble enough to stop trying to steer the actual spiderman projects and to finally start putting a real big-picture effort behind the spiderman-adjacent movies they've been fumbling - but why would they? spend a few mil and make double that from the marvel entries.... hard to buck that deal
@@360.TapestryI hate to be that guy, but Sony will never learn.
The movies aren't the problem, they actually could be gold IF the writers of the movies were actually competent.
@@MsDragonbal776 Sony doesn’t care. The same mfs who wrote Morbius’ script also wrote the script to this movie. Kraven doesn’t seem like it will any better.
The big reason it bombed is because instead of introducing the character in a Spider-Man movie and creating a buzz around the character then doing an origin movie, Sony instead just throws the character into a movie. It’s the same reason I can’t stand Suicide Squad.
Warner Bros wants us all to believe that as bad as Madame Webb is, Batgirl would have been worse😂😂
The only positive thing you can say about Sony’s Spider-Man universe at this point is, at least they didn’t make Spider-Man Lotus.
Well, the Spiderverse movies would be the positive thing if we’re being halfway serious.
Well, the Spiderverse movies would be the positive thing if we’re being halfway serious.
Mike Epps getting axed out from Madam Web is the best thing that ever happened in his movie career.
The next time he gets a lead superhero feature, let Katt Williams be the main villain. 😅
Wow! I think Corey’s “Lady of the night’s manager” analogy is the best way to describe this movie. No care, no love , no passion…..just go out there and make money, then come back so I can stomp on you 😂
35:12 Martin look glace Says it all!
It's funny because in your movie review you said it's bad as Catwoman, and it's literally a scene where they play a song from the Catwoman movie😂😂😂
lol
In the 1994 Spider-Man animated series, Madame Web and a young girl named Taina helped Spider-Man redefine his purpose after the public blamed him for destroying a medical building while fighting Doc Ock.
This movie was ass. But, I can't help but feel a little bit bad for the director. Sony basically hired a first-time filmmaker who they could use whatever way they wanted while completely turning the movie into a mess and throwing her under the bus for it.
Kind of like what 20th Century Fox did to Josh Trank with Fant4stic.
Same thing they basically did with The Marvels
This is why we have to Believe Them. It's not all about harassment and misogyny, it's that they gave an impossible task to a woman who was not allowed to turn it down. That is bullshit
@@premo2k781 What do you mean?
@@gamestation2690The director for the Marvels originally came in with a Cyclops-Storm teamup X-Men film as a fan of X-Men and those characters in particular. Instead, they stuck her to The Marvels. It was supposed to take two years and the studio extended it to 3.5 years with reshoots and changing up the release date four different times, knowing that the director had an obligation to another project. When the work date for Marvels conflicted with her other project, she left Marvels during post-production to work on the other movie. Post-prod is the phase when the studio does the work on the film and she doesn't need to be there anyway, but they had "anonymous sources" leak to Variety to make it look like she abandoned that shit.
People forget how low tier Iron Man was before RDJ. Dude never even had his own video game (by himself anyway). And NO one except nerds knew Guardians of the Galaxy before Gunn. But with the right writer, director, lead actor, or ensemble... magic happens. They had none of those things.
You can make anything work, you just have to make it work.
I'm not against the idea of making a movie about a superhero that not a lot of people are familiar with. They just need a lot of effort into it. All the Guardians of the Galaxy films are way better than whatever Sony is doing with this franchise.
29:43 Louder for the people in the back.
I appreciate Julian taking the roast well! Haha, genuinely hilarious
Sony decided to make a unpopular character( that was made familiar by Spiderman) with no Spiderman...or script. Next question...
I think they set it in 2003 because they were hoping people would assume they only needed to have 2003 quality of movie.
I think it's that way because aunt may and Ben spoken about Peter and that would put him age 21 which is what his character is supposed to be at present time.
Only problem is Madam Web is older like in the cartoons
@@FaceFamousthere is more than one version of Madame Web .
@@FaceFamous Beauty of C and D list characters is they're more flexible to work with since there are no preconceptions like Superman, Batman, Spiderman, etc that everyone knows and expects to be their version.
The only time people cared about Madame Webb was from the 90s cartoon. Although that’s mainly because she was voiced by Stan Lee‘s wife. Even if you didn’t know that she still had a pretty memorable quality. 20 years after that, a different version of that character appeared in Ultimate Spider-Man series. Boy, imagine if she appeared in the spider verse movie even if it’s just a few minutes to a few seconds, and it’ll still be a better version than the one from this whole movie. I wouldn’t even put it past them to throw shade and say that the ones from that earth got destroyed.
1. It sucked
2. The Sony Marvel movies mostly suck
3. Most people only go to the cinemas to watch movies that they get recommended
4. These movies have no future
5. The costumes look like they are out of a party store
6. The trailer looked bad as well
All you've said it true, but I'm curious where you got the third one from? What makes you say that?
I think content creators owe Sony a thank you for being able to make so many content off of this film and made more money making fun of it than the movie itself.
There's so much awful shit in this movie. Me and my friends were clowning it for hours! 😆
22:55 Ya kno-. If Kermit the frog asks it. The quandary becomes a really deep philosophy.😆
I also feel like the marketing was terrible. I only saw a few trailers before other movies I saw, such as before Argylle. I understand marketing won’t always save a movie but damn Sony do SOMETHING. 😂
Word of mouth and early reviews definitely killed it. I saw it for free and I want my money back. In fact anyone that paid for it should figure out a way to get their money back because they were definitely cheated !!
Damn.
I'm glad that I didn't see it on the day that it was released. Celebrated my birthday instead.
But surely you blame her for her monotoned, wooden, one-note performance. Why are people so reluctant to say this about Dakota (prolly because they are fan boys of her dad) but are so willing to call out others??
They had already at the start.
@@MixerRenegade95honestly never heard anything about her. Took me forever to realize she's the fifth shades of grey chick which was something else everyone was saying she was terrible in again. Seems like she's not a great actress and getting nothing but terrible projects to show that more and more, not sure what else she's been in but again never hear anything about her really until she's in something bad
I mostly knew Madame Web from the games and all I really knew was she was a blind old lady in a chair with a ton of computers.
My favorite version of Madame Web is Joan Lee from the 90s Spider-Man the Animated Series. She was the wife of Stan Lee. In the comics, she was a side character. I speak for everyone when I say there was not enough care being put into making the Madame Web film. Sony’s only hope is that Kraven the Hunter and Venom 3 better do well in the box office. Otherwise, give the Spider-Man properties to Disney and let Marvel Studios make the characters better.🕸️🕷️
Nice Kermit impression Korey
Flailing Muppet arms included
What if they did Madame Web with an older actress like Helen Mirren and she recruits the Spider girls to fight like a Spider-Man villain that they have the rights to.
Raven is playing a psp. A Sony game system. In 2024. Makes perfect sense. She saw the future and is finishing her library before they get deleted.
Dakota Johnson left her talent agency after the first trailer for the movie came out
Grace fan?
@@DwnBckFwdAttck no I am not a grace fan
main reason for the indifference was the fact this film was only made so Sony could keep the media rights.
And that's what's so horrifyingly upsetting about this movie and the Sony Spider-Man movies in general: There's no love or care or anything whatsoever. These movies are just soulless corporate productions leading up to nothing.
"I want Spider-Man!"
"We have Spider-Man at home..."
The reason why the Spiderverse movies are so well received is because it's being handled by people who are fans of Spider-Man
The Venom movies, Morbius, and Madame Web are just being made to keep the rights to themselves
Leave Tom Holland in the MCU. They still have Tobey and Andrew and refuse to use them
Some directors think that their client is the studio and they need to appease the studio. Some directors know that their real client is the audience and that’s who they need to appease
Easier said than done. It's the studio that's giving them jobs, not the audience.
35:10 Martins face right here is priceless
I never thought I'd see Martin just completely lost for words. But don't be so hard on Julian
Julian’s a good sport, he took that roast like a champ
Yes a "good sport" who does as he's told and won't take it further to suing them, lol.
I respect him for enduring it and going along with it, being mature... but anyone with common sense can see that there was some bullying going on.
"Roasting" is putting it too nicely. I'm calling a spade, a spade .
@@adu1991 I remember when they had some hispanic co-host Korey kept making jokes about the dude being latino, while the dude isn't make any black jokes back. They roast eachother all the time. It was a bit uncomfortable at first, but I was laughing through the whole thing by the end. Julian took it in stride and got in a few jabs of his own. Of course you have to be professional, but genuine camaraderie and being unfiltered is part of the appeal of DT. Had they completely ignored it, it would have felt even weirder.
Julian is an absolute riot 🤣🤣
25:59 Oh. So they're Sony's answer to DC's Birds Of Prey and the fabulous emancipation of one Harley Quinn! I'm never going to let them live that title down

6:18 is funny because they took the GOTG and made them popular without even introducing the best member. Richard Rider aka Nova. The only real character non comic book fans would have known.
Guardians is so.silly and overrated. Plotoles even a 13 year old notices. Nothing original about it. Gunn will ruin.Dc and hopefullybthwn we will have more logan, dark knight, the batman, joker
Also it really does feel like all studios are putting in zero effort into comic book movies anymore
Martin’s got a definite point. There are certain actors that, while not big names, I’ve come to associate with quality productions. Madama Web doesn’t have any such people attached to it.
36:00 I see you throw in that viper freak Symone
The internet trashing Chris Stuckman because he didn’t take the easy route of insulting the cast and crew instead he gave an analysis of why these studios are a problem
Is this true? I thought his video was good on the film.
@@moviecrazed2208 I guess the wanted him to trash it
stuckman's a fake and a coward
The problem is the studio. This movie gave people work. That’s the only upside
The problem with Stuckman's video is his thumbnail shows Madame Web and then he proceeds to make commentary about the industry instead of reviewing the movie. It's classic click bait. People are clicking on videos about Madam Web right now. They may not click on video essays about the Hollywood system in general. But I guess he has to make money like the rest of us.
if that's dakota johnson's real feelings towards comic book properties, then she exactly deserves this. i saw her on snl and definitely got the vibe she's just way too cool for that geeky shit
Madame Web with concept alone with her old woman original design. It was really unique.
They chose this character for two reasons: the character is female and it's got 'web' in the title. They thought they could piggyback on the whole spider-verse thing and have a team of alternate spider characters.
They were inconsistent with the way her powers were represented, to the point that I kept trying to understand while also instantly asking the exact same question each time: "WHAT ARE THE RULES!?" Haha.
Kraven is gonna flop so fuckkng hard
If this movie was any good, I'd give a fuck about the typo
Venom 3 _MIGHT_ do fine in the box office, but, yeah, Kraven is just as financially screwed as this movie.

After the ad break I half-expected Julian to just be gone after that comment. JC
Sony poorly using a Disney character to help advertise their poorly made non-Disney marvel movie is hilarious.
Main steam audiences didn’t know who STAR LORD was but they made the movie twice as impressive just to get half recognized and it blew people away. Effort is everything.
Best ad for therapy ever. Watched that whole thing intently.
Blade was a D-list character until Wesley.
Kraven: Hold my Mustache!
People keep missing representing the car scene online...That clip was not edited like that in the movie, the clip was edited like that for online/tv spot... I was watching for that scene & it wasn't edited like that in the actual movie. She rubbed the man's back, asked him his name then got into the position we then see her in, the online clip cuts that part out & cuts to her saying her name in response to him saying his name {13:30 mins in the move}. The movie is still trash... It looks like they weren't even trying., but I heard there we're massive reshoot & re-working of the original script., the villain was supposed to be trying to kill Mary who was pregnant with Peter Parker & M. Webb & the girls were gonna try to stop him
A Madame Web movie was a bad idea from the jump. I remember hearing about this years ago and thinking the same thing. It was a bad idea then. And it’s a bad idea today. In no possible universe does a Madame Web movie turn out good.
Madame Webb, in my eyes, was only exciting because she was the originator of the Spiderverse. And I always root for movies to be good! I don't want the work of hundreds of people to be bad.
But man, when the titular lead actor says "meh..." it's such a bad sign.
Most of us just want good movies. I welcome a whole Aunt May movie if it's an amazing story with good acting.
Now that you point that out, they should've just introduced her in the spiderverse movies
I almost think I would have rather seen that Aunt May spy movie now.
22:50 the Kermit the frog voice slayed me
man, I remember that Madame Web character, and that weird arch from the Spiderman animated series from the 90s. I always thought she was so cool, mysterious, a little spooky. There was feeling of cosmic and eldierct, prophetic almost godmother figure to her (helps that Stan Lee's wife, Joan Lee was the voice actress) . She was prepping Parker for an awesome arc dealing with salvation of the multiverse (this was before Spiderverse or Web Warriors)
Then i looked her up a few years ago, she seemed less interesting, but still some what interesting. A mutant with clairvoiancy who showed up a fewtimes to assist Spiderman or Spiderwoman or spidergirl.
This lazy cash grab is insult to both. I had conceptialized my own thing for it years ago (havent done anything with it due to copyright causing a loss of interest, as well as writers block/ gernally laziness and exhaustion. Basically, I had a retake on Charlottes Web as a cosmic action horror tale using Madame web, Miles Morales, (this was before the Spiderverse films made him a house hold name)
I may just revamp and sell it to Marvel, because my idea (which I loved) was deffintly better than what Sony did
and the costumes look more like Instagram Models rather than CW level costumes
I knew who Madame Webb was from the animated series in the '90s, but I was still confused as to why they made a movie with her as the main character.
The villian looks like it's from the CW Flash TV show
9:33 (powers are never explained) 💡Idea💡
Haven't seen the movie.
don't think i'll see it...maybe on streaming if it hits Netflix just to see the damage.
but an idea occurs to me for an interesting spin on how they could make her powers work.
They could take the Live, Die, Repeat/Groundhog's Day Model of doing things, where she has to do stuff multiple times to get good to progress
And for whatever that spider-venom did to her DNA, maybe it gives her that weird multi-path probability vision, but it takes the form of spider-webs
some stuff that is more likely to succeed or happen has the stronger more stable web if she proceeds along certain actions of that path. If if it's not, the web just snaps, she fails that task, she dies and has to try again.
But instead of having to just doing the tasks over and over no big deal, there could be some kind of a cost and toll to all this.
Maybe doing it all the time starts taking a toll on her body and she starts to age. And it makes it harder for her to do some of the tasks and things she was doing over and over again. And perhaps somewhere towards the end, she starts to loose her sight. And starts to need the help of a wheelchair or something.
and somehow after dealing with whatever the conflict is, she does something that takes her out of time and space. And that she'll be watching the people connected to the web system, aka the Spider-People. And maybe we see her doing some kind of knitting project like the Fates from Greek Mythology or something or she has some kind of friend that's Adrianne (had weaving contest with Athena, got turned into a spider for her boastfulness as the rough short of it) or something. And whenever we see her in later times in Spider-Man types of projects that involves weird spider-magic connection stuff, she could be in the background or doing small knitting stuff and gives or offers the characters some kind of knitted item that is some kind of spider-weapon or something....I don't know. Was kind of rambling and was thinking of ways to save this. Was thinking maybe she could be some kind of magic version of Stan-Lee.
Also I was thinking with the whole rapid aging thing, you could just use this to replace the actress with someone different from Dakota Johnson if you couldn't get rid of her for the first movie. For her additional appearances, I'd get an older actress to play Madame Web going forward.
I don't think this is the fully flushed out best idea to fix the movie version. What I laid out I think relies more on the idea that they could've just changed the script and approach from the start or something. But what I threw out here, was the main thing that came to mind for me after hearing some of the bad reviews, summaries and descriptions of this movie.
I'm really curious how is it even possible that Sony's divisions are this polarizing.
On one end you have the original Sony manufacturing company in Japan that's making everything from TV's to playstations. Then you have the Sony video game divisions which have made some of the best video games in the last few decades. Then you have the Sony movie studios and these are like some of the most inept people in the movie industry you can find. It's like the Japanese needs to pay their movie division a hard visit and start getting some new folks hired while firing other idiots.
35:15 *screenshot*
Gonna be using that as a meme
33:00 Dakota Johnson 's attitude during promotion was more entertaining than the movie....but on a serious side, she could have been more professional. When you think about Black actress like Taraji Henderson complain about the lack of opportunities for Black Actresses and Dakota behaves like that during an press tour. Makes you wonder 🤔
Iron Man was a B list superhero until RDJ's portrayal of him made him an A lister.
Very true
Madame web isn't even a c list character.
Iron man has his own series of comics. Madame Web doesn’t.
@@biguy617 I was just making an observation. I don’t think making a movie about Madam Web made any sense at all.
6:23 facts! I vaguely knew who they were and hadn’t read a comic about the guardians of the Galaxy before the first movie.
I got a feeling that the costume part for Madame Web and the Spider girls was an after thought, at first they were trying to made the movie without a super hero costume, but after some test screening, they decided to add the super hero costume scenes, which is not helping at all😅
1) Bad economy leading to reduced discretionary spending meaning people are going to less movies.
2) Bad marketing.
3) Z-list characters no one in the general public knows.
4) General apathy among the public towards franchises in the last two years.
5) Bad Reviews/Word of mouth.
6) I know I could fold this into the bad marketing but I feel it needs it's own mention specifically. The god awful, meme worthy, trailer.
In the comics,Madame Web was an elderly, blind, paraplegic, psychic that was eventually accidentally killed by the Juggernaut when he removed her from her life support chair when he tried to kidnap her.
Damn dawg...had to reload the clip on 'em
Korey u had me dying with that Kermit the frog skit 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Surprised to see such a good actor as Tahar Raheem in a film of low quality
I don't think Dakota's talent agency is to blame for her terrible acting.
