I have a condo in the Peninsula (1:00) and I can tell you it's great to be able to have the experience and night life of Tamarindo and the peace and quiet of Langosta. Langosta is a 10-15 minute walk to Tamarindo, as well as the 1 minute drive he mentions. I would recommend Langosta for a place to stay for your visit.
It's definitely worth staying in! The walk to Langosta would be much easier than Villareal.
The coolest part of that beach is the area close to the Hotel

Hello, not sure if this up your alley for the channel, and I know its been done time and again on others YT channels, are you interested in doing a cost to live video, I know allot of people online complain on the cost of living but are not being realistic, ie: No dishwasher-lol as your videos show perspective on the areas we can see the atmospheres and conditions. so if you could do a cost to live on your experience, noting that rent varies based on your wants vs needs. I am trying to budget a realistic budget for when we move in approx June 2024. we like coco and area and are familiar with some costs but overall if someone locally could be more detailed in the costs averages would be tremendous.
For sure I can share my experience with that. Generally, cost of living by the ocean is going to be much higher. Both in rent/buying a house and day to day stuff.
Coco for example is pricey. But if you travel outside of Coco a bit to Sardinal or Communidad you'll be able to find far more affordable options. I have a friend who was just quoted $400/month for a modern 2 bedroom house 10 minutes outside Coco. Groceries are also slightly cheaper outside the beach towns and you'll find more options directly from the farmers.
