- Season 4 begins with a BANG as the Wind and Serpent Hashira join forces to rescue a abducted woman and take down a TON of demons, only to discover the infinity castle right before the demons escaped! Soon after, the Hashira have a meeting to discern what exactly awakened the mark on Tanjiro, Muichiro, and Mitsuri, and with a new plan to have all Hashira gain the power of the mark, this season is set to be amazing! Can't wait to see what happens next!

I have no idea how the Ufotable animators constantly outdo themselves every season. The animation was already breathtaking, but this season is something else.
I mean they didn't do better then tengen v gyutaro but still crazy they probably will tho in the movies

Destroy is the word on the back of the wind hashiras cloak. It's translating it, but maybe not in the most elegant way
@jaimecardona92 Actually, while "destroy" is on the backs of all the other Slayers' uniform, Sanemi's says "kill"

The chase scene with Sanemi and Obanai was an anime original scene and definitely Ufotoble flexing their budget again
Yeah, UFOtable did a LOT of extra work this season, much of it appreciated by those of us who read the manga.

I appreciate it as a manga reader cause in retrospect, it's for the best we get a taste of every Hashira's fighting style before what comes next
Slight manga spoilers
In the manga, we only saw wind breathing during Sanemi's training with Giyu. And we don't see Obanai use Serpant for the first time until the infinity castle.

It said "destroy" because that was the character visible on his back during that shot.
It's basically a subtitle for significant Kanji.
3:00 it's the kanji on the uniform's back. Everyone has "destroy". Only Sanemi has "kill"

You mentioned why it says "destroy" sometimes that's because that's what the Japanese on the back of every demon slayer(other then Sanami mean looking with white hair his says kill) and their swords say. Also I can't wait for you to see Michael Jackson moon walking.

Destroy is what it says on the back of all demon slayer uniforms except for Sanemi's which just says kill. On the hashira swords the kanji translates to destroyer of demons. Theyve shown the translations a lot of times
I thought they were different for every sword. It's something called originality. (Who remembers Nathaniel Bandy who strives for originality)
Whenever the words "kill" or destroy" pop up it's because the kanji on the back of the demon slayer uniform is being translated

Basically what Amane said was "Anyone who awakens the Demon Slayer Mark will die at the age of twenty five with no exceptions" the only way around it would be if they were born with the Demon Slayer Mark or if they become a Demon after awakening it the most likely theory is that the one who awakens the Mark burns through so much of their own life force in order to just awaken the Mark that they can't live past the age of twenty five because it's that much of a burden and takes that much of a toll that their bodies just can't compensate for it not matter how strong they are.

Man, it feels GREAT to have Inosuke and Zenitsu back in the show again; they were sorely missed last season.
That's honestly how I feel about this entire arc. It's just good to see the majority of these characters (some of which haven't been around since season ONE) all together in this nice "calm before the storm" part of the story. Regardless of what anyone says, this arc is NOT FILLER. I wouldn't have even called it that in the manga, and definitely not after all that UFOtable did to expand on it.
Be happy to wait until like next year to find out about the marks😆

@@darknesswave100Tanjiro isn't gifted. He is also an average joe. Just that his mindset is built different and pushed through harder than most
remember in season two while tanjiro was fighting against Daki and remembering the letters that rengoku's father sent him, that tanjiro himself said that his father was born with a small mark on his forehead, similar to the hunter's mark, that added to the fact that tanjiro's father used the dance of the God of fire that at the end as they explained were the postures of the breathing of the Sun, surely that made tanjiro awaken the mark at the end.

Also I don’t think Tanjiro at the beginning of this arc is quite as strong as any of the remaining Hashira, but he’s definitely strong enough that he could claim that rank and basically only isn’t due to technicalities

So the way Mitsuri explained how she felt during the mark was the exact same way Tanjiro explained it.
Imagine being a Voice Actor: your previous Role was a cool, amazing General with Badass Scenes.
Now you have to voice a Crow and you have to play it straight.
If you had taken the Audio and played it over Erwin speaking, i would have believed it.

My understanding about the sneezing thing is that, in Japan, there is a phrase similar to “my ears are burning” in English. We say “my ears are burning” when someone is talking about us and the sneezing is from a similar phrase. So it’s not so much a special type of person but rather an animated play on words for a common saying.
That could be totally wrong but that is what I have always heard.
