The Hemlok isn’t the best, but is certainly underrated and is very useful in lots of situations
The hemlok can easily be the best if you are good with burst weapons
But the best weapon depends on each individual

Its got surprisingly good hipfire spread in close, sometimes thats the only thing ive had on drop, I definitely think it should be traded out however prior to endgame circles

I find that the r-301 is easy to one clip without a mag mostly in the early to mid game but still I find it happening quite often late game to.

they could bring the fire selector hop up back and allow it to be used on the hemlok . it could really shake the ar meta. it gets boring running just 301 or flat
tbh I LOVE the havoc iron sights... Then again I only use it for fairly close range fights because of its kick.

hit my first 2k only using a flatline with a 2-4x. No mag the entire game and i still kept up with other players in 1v1s.
Hemlok does have pay to win skins. The reactives are pay to lose because their bigger. But with that out of the way Retroactive from season five, cyberion, and cardiac assault are pay to win with slightly slimmer bodies/iron sights. (The slimmest being retroactive)

I would never trade a fully kitted hemi to another weapon it is such the sleeper pick and many people don't know how to deal with it without dipping behind cover immediately making perfect for Maggie and considering its weakness as a assault rifle a shotty makes a perfect pair. I personally love the mozam as it great for consistent damage out to mid range currently really miss the kinetic feeder on pk.
Also ttks would be great when vs armor types people may be surprised by some of these
Btw guys if you use a controller practice jitter strafing it helps reduce the recoil pattern to a circle shaped on every assult rifle except the havoc

Btw, the patch notes that also came out today for the upcoming spellbound event changed the anvil receiver damage:
-flatty went from 43 to 39
-301 went from 35 to 32
Limb dmg multiplier went from .9 to .75
It's like a Wiki but fun!

its so dumb that they nerfed the turbocharger. its just better to account for the delay than to use the turbocharger. it might be still worth it for the devo because it increases the initial fire rate.
Hey guys, I have a question. I haven't played since season 1 and I've put in over 20 hours into learning the game and how it's changed since then. Every hour has been pure frustration with maybe 5 minutes of feeling any progress. Should I keep trying or should I just find another game?
It's hard to say but if you're genuinely not having a good time or it just feels like a task playing the game, I'd say retire apex for a little and consider different FPS in the meantime.
Playing different FPS or any other game genre's are a fresh breath of air and trust me, putting too much hours on apex will most likely make you burnout. You can also develop game sense better on a games that you are enjoying (at least IMO).
Some pretty good tips that helped me get better was positioning, practicing my aim, and just thinking "what would I do if I were in there position". Obviously there's more stuff but you'll learn them along the way. Sorry if this comment was super long but I would like to encourage you keep trying because apex is a game I stuck with because once you get over that learning curve, it's a really fun game and there's not many games that have the same movement and gun play like it does (besides TF2 ofc).
@@fatacoom1486 That's pretty good advice. I played Arenas earlier and won 5 games back to back against higher level players, but I still keep having enemies flank me out of nowhere. Like I check every direction, shoot at the enemies, then boom one pops out from somewhere I just checked. XD

Oof, this aged like milk due to Anvil changes in recent patch notes, apparently the best marksman weapons now are single fire Hemlok and Longbow.
I swear I can never win any fight with AR ADS close range against SMGs
Hipfire at close range is the way to go

That is the whole point of anvil. slower fire rate but much more dmg per shot. Which makes it much more useful on range
Also 1 tip that you didn't cover that not allot of new players know about it the movement penalty the enemy gets when you hit them with a heavy ammo assault rifle. It slows down running and movement . Unless the enemy is fortified ie. Gibby caustic and newcastle

i love havoc, wingman and sentinel, this guns are imbalance if you can use them ideal!
And think who will win, guy with 301, or guy who shots all heads with wingman?
who will scare you more? guy with flatline, or guy who shot your head with sentinel or never miss with wingman?
high level wingman play has always been a monster. So far that people run wingman + pk
it's statistically impossible to hit every time headshots with an auto weapon let alone with the wingman. regardless how good your aim is , you'll eventually miss head and body shots. you also have to take in consideration the mag size the reload and the secondary. so to answer your question , a guy that hits consistently wingman shots is scary yes but if that wingman monster is facing a roller player with CAR SMG or 301 he'll be dead in a second or an extremely gifted movement m&k player , the wingman dude is gone.

but if you play with ONE TAP GUN, you dont staying and looking on enemie, you pick - shoot - go back, its kinda 1 second or less, its unreal to kill with flatline or other AR.
you will push with wingman and on long ranges you have sentinel with 70-140+ damage for ONE SHOT.
I am playing on 5.0 in game and 6000 dpi on mouse, i can use best movement and flicking with wingman and nobody can defeat me (in future of course).
if somebody pushing u u have granades its plus in damage an it works on all ranges.
i think that 301 its the worst gun in the game, lowest ttk, like smg not like ar,
you dont need optics for good shot control and... of course, 2+ headshots makes you real predator in game.
i know a lot of twitchers or predators who have worse aim, they can play only with 1-2 guns of all game...
in all shooters its easer for me to flicking, on all rangers, with all weapons, im am the octane mainer who playing fast, moving fast, talking fast and flicking fast.
