Hi JP. Thank you so much for the video and clarifying! You are awesome! I really really enjoy these series a lot and can't wait for the upcoming videos you mentioned. Your content is so perfect in so many aspects and you really don't have to mention to like or subscribe because it's so natural. You are taking down my cortisol from this world with each one so please keep them up. And make many more ❤❤❤❤ happy Friday!
The funny thing about the 480 is, back in the days along with the 30.000 § device most companies bought that extra card for another 500§, just to have the famous concert hall, which was included into the PCM 70.
sick dude! if you know a bunch of these techniques from different engineers & producers... let em rip! this is legit usable knowledge that leads mixers in a genuine direction of betterment... unlike these 'Ultimate Vocal Chain' vids, which even Andrew Scheps says is bs! these vids play like 'this what these guys used, this is what I use.... if you can take something from it & become better at your craft... great!' & I respect that!
Btw did Scheps actually say the Pultec-LA2A-Pultec vocal thing was BS?? Only bc I learned something similar in the past, from someone else, and thought it was funny that people call it his trick (no disrespect to Andrew, he rocks!)
@@Henryamps No. In the interview Im referring to, he's commenting on the lack of quality learning material on YT. Instead 'Audio Influencers' go with click bait titles when they in fact have no notable credits to their names. Tchad Blake is saying the same things ... "Here's the plugins Im using, but dont bother copying these setting; theyll do you NO GOOD!' & Tchad wld literally copy Bob Clearmountains settings but cldnt make em work. & your saying the same thing... heres a very specific technique... but your gonna have to listen & move some knobs to dial in the technique correctly. Audio Engineering isnt cut & paste plugins & plugin setting... youve to use your ears.
That was lovely thanks :) The only Andy Wallace guitar thing I gathered was the pcm42 fed in parallel (to get the transfo saturation,I don't know if it works that well plugin wise) I did try with the psp one
Another great video. It essentially creates a “back wall” or a sort of “spatial halo” that isn’t directly heard but felt (especially when taken out!)
Absolutely!

Thanks so much for the kind words!! Glad you're enjoying them!!
Thanks so much for taking the time to go in depth with the details. Really appreciate it!
Thanks for watching!!
Thank you so much, JP!
Thanks for watching!
Love that quirck kick drum sound ❤❤
I'm really enjoying these videos. Guitar mixing videos would be great, as most TH-cam channels focus heavily on drums and vocals. Keep it up mate.
Awesome content!
Thanks!!

Yep, crazy!!

and thats my goal! It's not so much about having the exact same plugins or whatever, but just the general idea and approach that I'm trying to convey.

@@tpn4781 ah, i dig it... and totally agree!

The latest PSP (v2 i think) does the Limiter thing from the 42, i'll be showing that in an upcoming video as well as a few other cool guitar tricks
@Henryamps can't wait! I thought I was over watching people tricks and stuff, and there you popped with Andy Wallace things hahahah I m so weak
For the white noise track, instead of using the harmonizer, could someone just use a low pass filter to tune the noise ?
I'd prob try sweeping a bell curve boost to emphasize the range you like, sure
@@Henryamps Thanks, this series is very good :) I love Andy
