Wave, a big part of why I closed down my channel by the late 2010s was because boxing was too inconsistent for me. I had to be forcing myself to push out content and that's when I realised it was better to stop. I've tried coming back, but the passion was knocked out of me during that time (no pun intended). Props to you and the others for continuing on. I wish I had kept the original channel but it is what it is. Monopolies always make me cautious, yet this guy has brought boxing closest to what we've always wanted and complained for. As long as there's a way to regulate him or whoever succeeds him, all should be well.
Hopefully fights can get back to how they used to be. No one is worrying about keeping a “O”back then they were about fighting the best over and over again and making money.. but this day and time it’s more money..
Good video Wave, Ive been wanting something like this for a while. Not only that but everything else around it like the Ring Awards and the top quality production for fight build-ups just adds to the vision I think Turki and his team have been trying to do with Boxing. I feel like it would put boxing in the spotlight a lot more and get the casuals to pay attention to some of these lesser known fighters who are super talented but havent got the name.
I'd be interested in knowing what is their sports budget for boxing since they are also investing in a soccer league. Is boxing going to be a perimanent part of their sport complex going forward? Interesting, Turk is out here with Don King cards.
Good Vid Wave! I'm for a league like a ufc structure. For it to be possible, i think Turki will have to buy up all the sanctioning bodies and create a unified structure with one belt and universal rankings. If it can be done correctly, boxing could return to the glory days
If it was for a boxing league like what Turki is trying to do it would make sense for 1 champion / interim belt for each division like UFC etc So I could see that, but it also might make the organizations not too happy and make it seem like their belts are worthless.
A new boxing league could be just what boxing needs to shake the industry up, so we regularly get the best vs best 🥊

I agree with your take on this. It is soooo clear who the duckers are now.
Ahh that's why tank retiring lol he knows he gotta jump on the turkey train knowing pbc going down and he def don't want to fight any of them guys
Instead of „Thank you Al Haymon“ we are now hearing „thank you Excellency“
Boxing won't lose anything if he retires honestly. There are plenty more fighters who are willing to put their "0" for better fights.

You right on the money. "Somebody's 0 has got to go" and so what!

Here’s hoping Turki liquidates the WBC, WBO and WBA (I think the IBF have credibility) and the Ring becomes the one true championship

This might be Turki´s plan.
There should be only one World title instead of 4 different ones.
I don’t think the issue is with 4 belts it’s so many fake belts that.exist. Those fake belts needs to go
@@nelsonshut6840 like WBA regular title or WBC Interim title etc.
@@nelsonshut6840 Facts. This is the biggest problem the whole intercontinental / regional belts need to get outta here.

@@AGYAL4L they already are for the most part.
