I believe item builds for every hero are situational. It is important to build the right item for effiency, especially for a hero like Hylos. Dominance Ice , Cursed Helmet and Guardian Helmet are the core items for Hylos.
Hylos Builds,
Against a majority physical damage enemy lineup.
1. Warrior boots (Roam - Encourage, Jungle - Ice)
2. Molten Essence (Upgrade to Cursed Helmet after dominance ice)
3. Dominance Ice (able to swap with No.2)
4. Clock of Destiny
5. Antique Cuirass/Guardian Helmet (Against True Damage)
6. Guardian Helmet or Situational Item such as Blade Armor (Against Crit), Twilight Armor (Against Burst)
7. Athena Shield (Against Burst Magic), Radiant (Against Poke Magic)
8. Immortal (For item switch)
Against a majority magic damage enemy lineup
1. Toughness boots (Roam - Encourage, Jungle - Ice)
2. Molten Essence (Upgrade to Cursed Helmet after Dominance Ice)
3. Dominance Ice
4. Oracle (If you are roam with revitalize and your team have a healer) if not, buy Athena Shield (Against Burst Magic) or Radiant Armor (Against Poke Magic)
5. Guardian Helmet
6. Athena Shield/Radiant Armor (Against both poke and burst magic) (Buy both if there are too much magic damage.
7. Twilight Armor/Blade Armor for Utility (if enemy have 4 magic and 1 physical MM/burst physical damage dealer, eg, Aldous.) Do not buy item 6 if you are going for 1 Utility last item.
8. Immortal (For Item switch)
To understand the builds better, one must also understand every heroes nature of damage. (Physical/Magical/True/Crit/Hp%)
These builds are also not fixed and are subjected to changes as every matchup is unique.

For some reasons i found Hylos fit my playstyle a lot. Just a beefy hero with simple skillset so I can focus on staying alive in combat and nothing else. Thank you for your video. Last season I ranked 31 im my country (Viet Nam) at mythic 25star. Hope I can do better this season

Most of the youtubers I watch disregard even the tiniest details, you earned a subscriber. What do you think about using Clock of Destiny or Ice Queen Wand for Hylos? Would it be beneficial for one of them to replace a tank item?

Clock of destiny is definitely viable if only your team is leading. It lacks the defensive stats in the beginning however, your team gold lead will cover for your lack of stats until you gain the full stack of it.
Ice queen wand makes your hero alot less tankier and the slow effect can be easily replaced by your skill 2.
Bear in mind that these two offensive items can still be used situationally only in a snowballing game. I personally feel that being tankier with defensive items is better as staying in the battlefield for a longer time also means that your allies can benefit from your presence.
Lastly, COD will soon be buffed, do expect it to be a core items for hylos😂

Is it better for the roamer skill to be invisibility or this increase dmg to friends haha also is curse helmet neccessary? i usually skip that for another tank item to save more time
Hi! Good question!
Usually for "set up roamers" like tigreal, Franco, atlas or even Kaja, it is fully recommended to go for invisibility as it synchronizes very well with your ultimate.
It gives you an advantage to close the gap and catches your enemies off guard, successfully landing an efficient ultimate.
For heroes like Hylos, he is quite balanced throughout the game. It would be way better to get the aura effect "encourage" as hylos, you have no game changing spells to set up any massive combo
Hylos only have a stun and slow, and it is definitely better to increase damage and attack speed of your allies while you are at it. this also helps to push.
For cursed helmet, I seldom skip that as it synchronizes extremely well with hylos skill set. Unless on certain situations you can build clock of destiny first to snowball an already winning game. Dominance ice is definitely a priority item to buy first.
Even if you do not go for cursed helmet, you can buy molten essence + dreadnaught armor (or silence robe into athena or radiant armor, depending on enemy lineup)
All of which is value for gold spent and then upgrading them accordingly.

In late game if there is only one magic damage dealer in enemie team is it enough to build magic def boot and oracle to deal with magic damage, cause hylos already have too much hp as backup so i can build physical items more, also revitalize and hylos ultimate will be enhanced due to oracles passive, what do u think?
Hi, it is still better to build warrior boots rather than tough boots as you are versusing 4 physical enemies.
For tough boots, it is still viable to buy it against CC or slow effect against heroes even when there are 4 physical damage dealers.
The magic defense boots is mainly used for it's 30% cc duration reduction rather than the magic defense stats itself.
Just to state afew examples, it is good even against physical heroes like Ruby, Franco, chou, akai, grock. Because it's reduces your CC duration by a whooping 30%.
If used against magic damaging heroes with CCs, it is even better as you ultiize all the stats the boots provide including it's magic defense and cc reduction.
Perfect against heroes like lylia, Eudora, nana and many more as most mages have slow.
The boots can be also used against items like ice queen wand.
Also, oracle is only efficient when you have an additional healer in the game that heals specifically you. It is because this item loses its efficiency when the enemies have anti lifesteal equipped.
To answer your question, depending on what the four physical enemies heroes are, if they are without CC, I will recommend warrior boots. If they have CC, I will recommend tough boots.
Also, if that 1 mage is a burst mage, I'd recommend you to build athena shield.
If that mage is a poke mage like Harley or lylia, radiant armor. Rather than oracle.
Still, it depends if that enemy single mage is decent or not. If he is no good, then you need not focus on magic defense at all.

To answer your question, it is from the start of the season to the end.
At the start of a season you will gain significantly lesser points due to the server calibrating the points of all players and people are all still lowly ranked. However, you will enjoy a better win rate from the start of the season, using your desired hero.
Some other advice would be not to blindly spam the same hero because unfortunately as a solo player, you will be matched with unfair allies. For example, there will be games whereby no one in your team is able to play MM or jungle.
Or having 2 roamers with 99% of the match as roamer. This situation will cause one of the role in your team to be weak as it will force 1 of these 99% recent match roamers to play another role they don't like. People tend to troll when stuff like this happens.
I'll try to avoid playing my MMR hero if I spot matches like this because there will be a higher chance of losing.

Hello! This is a common misconception where people refers to buy blade armor against marksman. In fact, blade armor does not serve much in this game as compared to my other items.
Blade armor's stats for critical reduction will also be put to no use as the enemy had no critical damagers.
Its only effect here will be to reflect damage (which is easily covered by her lifesteal) and slow. With a price of 1910gold.
In other words, I will die faster due to the lack of efficiency just to "semi-counter" one single hero.
It also felt to me that their MM positioning wasn't good.
And yes, I will buy blade armor if the enemy is one with berserkers fury. (Still depending on the situation, an example, whether magic defense is needed)

@@syelsyel1691hi thanks for the comment. I would suggest to prioritize dominance ice and antique cuirass against hanabi.
Depending the stage of the game, when you see hanabi going for crit items, go for twilight armor.
Some items such as brute force breastplate is useful if you are using heroes like balmond or Esmeralda.
Do keep in mind that you must not neglect the other four heroes you are facing and build your items accordingly.
