Since we got a lot of comments that the Dyson fan we suggested in the video is too expensive, we wanted to list some of the more budget friendly options out there:

1 ice in front of fan
2 set ceiling fans to counter clock
3 soak clothes in ice and hang front of fan
    4. 2 fans, one near window, one on opposite side creating cross ventilation
    5. Use a humidifier.
For those as impatient as me!

And what does this expensive fan do to blow cold air into the room?

I'm pretty sure most of us who came here can't afford the expensive fan at the end, and if we did, we would buy air-conditioners and wouldn't be here in the first place...

Ceiling fan pull the cooler air down? Really? The physics in my world dictate that cold air is heavier and sinks so the hot air is higher up.

Yes, you are right, cold air is heavier, however ceiling fans create an airflow that moves air from the top (hot air) to the bottom, thus pushing the cold air to the top and so on. This creates a loop of cold air being circulated in the room and gives you that nice breeze feeling.
