I love what you said about having a long term view so much. Being in the market, even if it's the S&P, demands a lot of patience. I'm not close to being a great investor, but having a long term view has definitely helped me profit significantly, more than 400% in the last five years.

I agree. Patience, coupled with a strong investing skill, could make significant returns. If you don't have the skill, hire someone who does, and wait it out. I've made so much from following this very simple strategy

Biggest lesson i learnt in 2023 in the stock market is that nobody knows what is going to happen next, so practice some humility and low a strategy with a long term edge.
Nobody knows anything; You need to create your own process, manage risk, and stick to the plan, through thick or thin, While also continuously learning from mistakes and improving.
Uncertainty... it took me 5 years to stop trying to predict what bout to happen in market based on charts studying, cause you never know. not having a mentor cost me 5 years of pain I learn to go we’re the market is wanting to go and keep it simple with discipline.

A year ago CrowdStrike was 144..... now after the biggest IT failure in human history its still north of 250. Something doesn't add up here, shouldn't this atleast set the company back a year??

There is old saying, leave it to pro, This crowdstrike company should have studied OS from other companies before implementing security patches. Let the windows defender, I mean Microsoft , do the job instead of some 3rd party, unknown, programs.

I'd be careful. Likely lawsuits to come, loss of contracts etc... this wasn't a nothing burger, stock will bounce back next week kind of mess up
After another 10% decline, Crowdstrike could come to a hold. They are very overvalued. With this negative news and I rely entirely on the news, I am passive. Nvidia is also a great company, Crowdstrike is also a great company, but Nvidia is currently 10 times cheaper than Crowdstrike.
