I'm not Nigerian, I like African films, especially the ones made in village or old traditional settings.
The problem with most of the tribal Nigerian films is that either the subtitles are nonexistent - not in keeping with the dialogue - or it stops translation at some point, such as in this film.
The producers might be targeting only Yoruba people. However, there are millions of non- Yoruba speaking people across the world who like this genre of films.
This is typical of things made in most parts of Africa where artists, producers, and manufacturers limit their market size due to the lack of attention to detail.
How much would it cost to produce good quality subtitles for one film? Compare the cost of that to the added revenue from potential viewers who do not speak or understand the language used in the film.
