When the game just doesn't want you to win... 60 cards branded, of course they open evenly+droplet+branded fusion Double handtrap so you choose to make a simple 4 mat Apollousa, of course they hard draw imperm I'm surprised you could contain your anger, I'd be screaming lmao
Surprise blowouts like that make for good content, and were a great way of pointing out how overpowered non-engine makes engine choices far less impactful than they actually seem.

You really ought to consider playing 3 Impulse in your deck, despite your statements in the deck profile. The purpose of Impulse isn't to set up the turn 0 Preventer play (though it is quite nifty when it comes up). You're supposed to pair it with either Fire Attacker to go +1 while cycling through your deck for more handtraps and engine, or Fire Engine to go +2 by summoning Air Lifter from the deck and searching a spell. It can also bait an Ash or Called By from the opponent to protect your Maxx C or other handtrap. Rescue-ACE is, in fact, one of the most well-positioned decks in the game to break boards going second without generic handtraps or boardbreakers. The advantage you accumulate through Impulse is a major reason for that.

R-ACE is the first deck that got me into Masters but I play the pure variant, no Snake-Eyes and it was very fun but hard looses to backrow removal so I started putting Red Reboot and Judgment around Diamond 3. Helps a lot immensely.
It's reassuring to see a good player like Dkayed go on a losing streak tbh, that would've even been a de-rank in ranked duels. Like yeah, we've all go through this.
got to 1700 with floo. would like to see you play it too since its very beginner friendly and very hard to master at the same time. people dont know 2-3 card combos with this deck and struggle to play optimal on turn 3/4 because they dont know what to do with all the options.

Wow in that first match with the same field with VV I have destroyed rescue ace and tear. That Phoenix play to revive turbulence was genius imo, most players just fold.

OK with that outta the way I got better with game mechanics and reading opposing strategies and now i can enjoy MD playing even at master rank (still losing to meta most of the times thou). I do and don't agree with lower ratings auto-going first. It does sound nice, but if that happens, you're gonna see people changing their decks at high ratings to play around it, almost like they're side-decking. That could potentially be even worse.
it's ridiculous new meta decks are playing around 15-18 hand traps and multiple one card combos VV, SE, SEFK, Yubel, Centurion. The rest of the descks cant play around too many handtraps + powerful fiedls.
remember when you use zelantis you can off set opponents minions into spots that could benefit your card effects. such as going into a card that steals their minion....
I liked this kind of content, with you delivering it. But i disliked how you played R-ace deck with 40 cards with only 1 board breaker (TTTalent considered as 1), you supposed to be play at least 44 or 45 cards. Anyway, i love to see you played RR on the top rating duel.

As a player coming back after about a year, these 1 hour playtests are the best way to learn the new decks and top tier plays! Hope to see more!
