If there is no mint mark it is Philadelphia mint and it is worth a quarter, then there's the D mint mark (denver) which is also worth a quarter. If it has an S mint mark it is 40% silver.

Well there were some Bicentennial QUARTER that have no mint mark and will have your normal face value But if your quarter is in really good mint condition maybe sent it off for grading it could be worth more then face value. I agree this so called rim error is nothing. it's very common on most coins to have it off just a little bit and doesn't add any value to your coin, Sorry. it has to be way off to add value to the coin

I have lots of them.some with some without. One of the 1776-1976 is 40% silver. On other one is a proof coin. Really nice condition.
