Sorry if you thought I was putting down the original, because obviously it's a great song and has amazing lyrics. I just prefer it in this style of music. :)

I know it's a bit late of a reply, but I need to point out a few points 1)The Coronas have covered hardly any songs, they mostly make originals which have been credited with being more than "Decent". I know it's your own opinion blah-de-blah but they ARE getting extreme recognition for their own songs. 2) I don't know faces you make when you're holding in farts, but if it's anything like what Danny makes when he's singing the chorus then you're the odd one.
Pulling faces like that helps to hit higher notes or notes that people can't easily hit or hold. More useful for males since their voices are generally much deeper than females. Doesn't work for me though, I still sound like a dying seal at the best of times.

To me it just felt like the context of your comment discounted the original. If the original (which is an amazing song) wasn't around this cover would 100000000000 times never happened.
Good man Dave, Fairplay, I think you're really cool. Mr. Corona has some good pipes on him but it looks like he's tryna hold in a fart everytime he sings the chorus. The Coronas would get some recognition if they wrote some decent songs instead of making a mockery of already great songs....and holdin' in farts;)!!!
