- A short video showing how I reasonably quickly replaced both the horns on my BMW F30. My exact model is 320i LUXURY XDrive. I believe the F31 estate, F32 Coupe, F34 GT, F36 Grand Coupe all have the same design. My high note horn failed before the car was 3 years old. I should have mentioned it when the car was in for warranty work but forgot. The low note horn worked as and when it wanted to. Both horns had water inside them. There's a pause between 1'10" - 1'15" which I should have deleted. Sorry about that. I removed the whole inner liner on the drivers side and was going to film the whole process on the passenger side on another day but as it hadn't taken too long I decided to do the other side on the same day but in reducing daylight. I managed by only removing about 8 retaining bolts so I could partially move the wheel arch liner out of the way.

Thanks for the video; i have not find on the web the "lead with the correct plug and spade terminals" that you mentioned; could you please write here an amazon or ebay link?
Just type BMW F30 horn or horn terminals on ebay. That's where i found them.
Are they both same tone? Originally there is low and high tone.
They are supposed to be high and low but I don't think they are the same as the originals. Having said that my original failed very quickly and these seem to be o.k.

@@dmitrijsbajarcuks5407 Good. If they're the same as mine i think the horn is not the same tone as original but I don't care so long as they work and keep water out unlike the originals.
Do you have a link to where you purchased the horns from?
I bought them on ebay. I searched BMW F30 horn and made sure the images showed the plug that is needed although it was a gamble because I hadn't at this time seen the plug up close. I also found just the short lead with the correct plug and spade terminals which meant you could use any set of horns.

@@duncanmounsey7357 I imagine mine came from China although many of the sellers appear to have stock in the U.K. I did wait about 10-14 days for delivery from memory. As it was an experiment in as much as I envisaged having to buy the originals I didn’t mind.

Aren't FIAMM AM80S OEM?
I imagine they use more than one supplier? I’ve had fiamm on other BMW models. The original on my Nov 2014 car from new were the ones in the video.
