Well, yes, White's b-pawn was poisoned, but he had to play some of the most daring, energetic chess I've ever seen to bring home the point. This is an excellent game for study. Thank you, Mato.
hi Mato! Another amazing game! Can you please upload more games with Danish Gambit? It would be interesting to see how blacks win after the opening is accepted. Thanks!
Mato, I know you don't play online chess much, but if you played games yourself, and then did commentaries on why you made the move etc. I think that would be very helpful :) Thanks for the vid
I guessed the silent move, since I thought White wanted to attack the h column. That being said there were many good preemptive moves white made that game I would not have that kept him in control of the position. Very good game as usual Mato!
Engine says Black was never better than equal, but held equality a long time, perhaps until move 17 (where Nd7 was better - development). At move 10, Qd8 is indeed strong for Black (perhaps that other guy who lost with it made some other mistake?); Black can also consider Na6 (perhaps to build a Qside attack?). Anyway, Black's Q needs a job! After White's silent killer move of 19.Ke2 (preparing attack on h file), engine wants Black to sac the R on h5 (closing the h file); 19..Ba5 missed the point and Black goes downhill from there.

You are an excellent coach. We are watching you cokkectivly, All our team of former KGB officers is watching you closely.
I hit like for every Mato's video I watch. That's how I can keep track.
5:38 - if Black King goes to e8, surely Nxc5 is the best move?
mato what is your chess rating
p.s. i love your videos

I wouldn't mind seeing one of Matos own games. he is amazing.
Some people watch action movies, I watch mato's epic chess miniatures. :)
Thank you
i could find it. could you before you upload the video, mato?!
What happens if 24.....Bxf5 instead of retreating with Queen to c5
great game, great lecture
ty Mato
did you guess the move mato
that was awsome
I would have totally believed if Mato said this was a game between greats like Fisher and Tal. Amazing Amazing game!
I actually found that ke2 move. Connects the pieces, and white can play be3 attacking the queen with it too.

lol... @8:52, did you say f7 check? he checked the rook? :)

damn that was beautiful game!!!
thank you sir
nice game with nice title :)
Nice game. Nice choice
👌Perfect game.
Eric "pre-played"" a move is what teased my ears all game :)
Complex game. I like it
A good example of how the poisoned pawn can cost position.
the whole pawn structure makes this look very messy. I would try to avoid positions like this.
My rating is not that impressive, but I guessed the odd looking move King to e2, connecting the Queen for the attack.
soup kitchen defense....1.h3 e5 2.e4 Nc6 3.Bb5 Nb8
2nd Thank You :)
.white without breaks............brilliant
omg what a bad choice of opening pieces?
i mean developing pieces
Hi Mato, I don't mean to offend you, but are you a conspiracy theorist?
Why?
MatoJelic I saw some person on twitter comment on your posts and then I saw your tweets.
I am not a conspiracy theorist. I think out of the box. You should try it.
Read news from other countries not just western countries
MatoJelic I read Arab News plus Finnish and Swedish news every day, not a box as far as I can see ~

I guessed da killa move :D (wild guess tho)
Confucius never spoke about chess and was long gone when Najdorf and Bronstein started poisoning pawns. 😄
silent killer opening
this game called chess is more important than ...
me cooking delicious salsa potatoes at 3 in the morning
ha ha :) sleepless nights? - good use of the time both ways. (I could listen to Mato reading a cook book by the way)
